A bit OTT but I had a private lockup garage for my bicycle beneath my room complete with electric charger for cars. Very nicely laid out room well back from the road so very quiet.

1. Very close to King Kong Avenue (walk for 5 mins) 2. The environment and room are new and clean, and the air-con has a heating function 3. Breakfast is made by the owner and it is delicious 4. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful village on Taiwan’s stunning east coast, it combines beautiful design, cleanliness, and a calming atmosphere. I can only agree with the other good reviews. Nice, clean room, friendly staff. In the centre of town, near bus stop. Brothers speak very good English. The food in the restaurant is great, best food we have had during our 2 weeks in Taiwan. We had to leave early and a take away breakfast was prepared, very much appreciated. If I have to mention a minor inconvenience, the wooden chairs in the room are a bit hard to sit on.

This was THE BEST stay I had in Taiwan during my 5 months here. Firstly, the bed is ubercomfortable, even the ones in the dorm style rooms. Secondly, all the facilities are superb, showers are new, toilets are new and also very very clean! For bikers, this is the top destination as it is close to highway 11 and has an air pump, free to use laundry machines, and perfect bike parking. There are really all the things you could possibly want there (like a fridge, clothing line, clothing hangers, ...) The host is also very nice and although there was a bit of a miscommunication before I arrived, I was able to get settled in perfectly.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Changbin, Auntie's Flowers is a country house surrounded by views of the garden.

The location in the countryside was lovely. It was just a bit cooler than the coast so we didn't need the Aircon and we could listen to the night fauna. Our host made a Taiwanese breakfast, dumplings and fruit!
