The rooms are decorated up to the very small detail. Our kids (2,4,10 years old ) loved it. The breakfast changed evry day and was delicious. There was a kids play zone that had a lot of thought put into it.

Due to a week-long conference at the nearby Tung-Hwa University with some of my students, we decided to choose this local hostel instead of hotels in Hualien city. The madam (boss) is very kind and indeed offers us free breakfast every day. It seems that we are the only guests in the entire building, making it very relaxing. The surroundings are tranquil during the night. The room is clean, and complimentary bottles of mineral water are provided in unlimited quantities, which is extremely helpful given the hot weather. A 15-minute walk will take you to the main road of the town, where there are many restaurants available.

This hotel had really friendly and efficient staff. The owners answered my questions and helped me with anything I could need. The room was big and clean and there was ample parking. The hotel is near Zhixue but despite being at walking distance, it is located in a calm quiet location. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    This is a small university town, village maybe.

    This is a small university town, village maybe. The campus of Tung-Hwa University is pretty large, and this small town has its only main road connecting the back gate of the campus and the local train station, with many diners along the road.
