We spent nearly a week at the newly opened KAI Zanzibar Hotel & Spa in Nungwi as the final stop of our honeymoon — and what a perfect ending it was! From the moment we arrived, the KAI team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They personalized so many details for us, including a beautiful floating breakfast to celebrate our honeymoon. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was absolutely stunning — and yet we still found ourselves admiring the gorgeous common pool area too. When we arrived after a long safari tour, I wasn’t feeling well, and the team immediately made me a fresh ginger tea. They even arranged a dinner takeout and brought it to our room so I could rest — it’s these thoughtful gestures that really stood out to us. The entire facility is peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Our villa and pool were cleaned daily, and it was such a joy to come back to a fresh, welcoming space every day. Mounir and the whole team were so warm and attentive — they truly made sure we were looked after from start to finish. The location is great too — close to the beach and nightlife, yet tucked away enough for some serenity. We’re so happy we chose KAI for the final part of our honeymoon and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a boutique luxury experience with exceptional, personalised service! Thanks again for this memorable stay 💗

The place is in a nature habitat and so you enjoy the sea going back and forth. Beautiful view. I've been in many places but the beach is withe water transparant blue similar to the maldives. I enjoyed everything and everyone working there. My biggest compliments to you all thank you.

Amazing place to relax, great hospitality, and a very comfortable large bed. Clean rooms, beautiful surroundings with local plants. Very nice pool and relaxing area. The restaurant serves really good food, not to mention breakfast, you get with the price of the room. Host Ahmet and Ersoy are very professional and friendly. They would go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. The best place to stay in Nungwi,with 2 minutes walk to the beach.

This hotel is amazing! It’s perfectly located - within walking distance of the beach — and everything you need is nearby (stores, restaurants, etc.). The staff is absolutely incredible! They’re always friendly and make sure you’re comfortable. They’re also available for anything you need and will go above and beyond to assist you. The hotel is very safe, and we felt secure throughout our stay. A big shoutout to the Casa Dantes staff for making our visit so warm and memorable. The food is delicious, and they offer a variety of breakfast options each day, so you’re never eating the same thing. I would definitely recommend staying at Casa Dantes when visiting Nungwi, Zanzibar.

Our stay was unforgettable! The service was beyond anything we’ve experienced, even compared to top resorts. The team created a special WhatsApp group with all the relevant staff — every request was handled immediately, sometimes even before we asked! Mr. Malay, the F&B manager, was like our personal manager — always available and never said no. Chef Adam’s food was absolutely incredible, and the views from our villa were breathtaking. Truly the best hospitality we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
