I was on Solotrip in this hotel and i couldn’t choose better place for my holiday. I felt very welcomed by Tomek and his lovely wife ❤️ It was almost as i come to visit a family! They always cared how i feel and If it’s everything Okay. I got sick and they took care of me. Other staff is very lovely too ❤️ The room is beautiful , the view is beautiful , the restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing. It is absolutely quiet here , it’s perfect place for relax, you don’t hear a word here , only birds, ocean waves and wind. I Will definetly come back. Thank you very much for this beautiful experience❤️🥥🌴🌸

We where 6 girls on a friends-trip, and this hotel was perfect for us! They gave us princess-treatment and made sure that we had The best stay we could! The breakfast was Amazing with fresh fruit juice, good bread, french toast, pancakes and more! The tables where also beatyfully decorated with flowers☀️ Anna who Work at The hotel arranged The best trips foe us and our friends, arranged taxi and gave us The best service, we felt so taken care off!! And our driver, Alex (!!) he drove us where ever we wanted and waited for us until we wanted to go back to The hotel. He was very patient, played good Music in The car and was always happy☀️ Thank you so much for a wonderful stay everybody at Haber Hotel!

Calm place, beautiful interior design, warm and kind hotel staff, really helpful manager, the best beach - wide and clean, two swimming pools, yummy food, comfy beds, yoga classes! I was in many hotel around the world and I am rather picky but this place should have the rate closer to 10 for sure! I liked it so much that I decided to come back here for a second stay. In Matemwe - the best place to stay for a couple of nights!

Matemwe is a perfect destination for anyone who wants peace and quiet, but still has access to great activities. You can easily arrange dolphin watching and swimming tours – look for Captain Lucho, he helped us with everything and made the experience amazing. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Matemwe was nice - the beach part.

Matemwe was nice - the beach part. Sad to see the poverty behind the gates of the hotel. The tides were a bit different from what we have expected as the water would leave the beach at 9am and return around 5pm. If you did not make it to swim early in the morning, you missed it. We took a reef walk which was beautiful, saw a lot of see creatures, and that was very amazing experience. Also took a boat tour to see the sunset - it was worth the trip. Did not like how the locals would just stop on the beach and start shouting at you to buy smth. Also the part of the hotel beach is not segregated in any way, which does not give you a privacy enough. The food was amazing though - the hotel goes much beyond - and all day brekfast concept was amazing.

Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . We rode bicycles 🚲 around the village and the place felt very safe. There are few alternative places for lunch or dinner. Not too far from stone town.

The snorkeling was a true adventure, with well-protected marine life and crystal-clear water. Spotting the dolphins was an unexpected bonus! Visiting the sea turtle rehabilitation center and feeding them was a special experience.

Matemwe beach was huge and totally uncrowded - some days we were lucky to see 10 - 20 people pass by! Loved the Massai beach hawkers - friendly and laid back happy to have their pictures taken - no hassle or relentless chasing - once told 'no' they respected our space. Recommend a day trip to Nungwi for a completely different vibe and fantastic sunset. Matemwe is somewhat isolated and if you want to get around you need to secure the number of a local taxi driver - always bargain hard beforehand. Most hotels organise trips/tours but at a premium.

It was a quieter beach which was nice which also meant not too many people hassling you to buy things. Those that did were respectful. Beach is nice but the sea depth is very shallow most of the day so swimming wasn't the easiest and there was a lot of seaweed when we were there.

Wonderfully located directly at Matemwe Beach, the hotel offered spacious and clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Also, the two pools were enjoyable and surrounded by comfy spots to relax. Both breakfast and dinner was delicious and we liked having having a tasty cocktail at the beach bar. The entire team was very friendly and attentive and every wish was taken care of. A place like paradise :) We were more than happy to stay here and would definitely recommend it!

Matemwe Beach must be one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. You can walk for kilometers on beautiful white soft sand. The beach is fairly quiet so you are not disturbed by the "beachy boys" all the time. You look onto Mnemba Island and doing a snorkelling excursion there from Kiva is very easy and accessible. Being on the eastern side the sun rises are magnificent. Breakfasts and dinners were good at Kiva with staff happy to assist with any requests.

Absolutely stunning! The best all inclusive resort I stayed at. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and very professional. There are plenty of sports facilities available. The food is amazing and with great variety, 4 different restaurants to choose from. The location is perfect, nice lagoon just outside the hotel and beatiful beach. Much recommended.
