We had five wonderful nights at Matumani guest house. And we did not want to leave. Such a beautiful house, with a wonderful garden and breathtaking view. In a quiet area away from noisy tourist areas. And most of all Margret took so good care of us. We were served lovely homemade food, and she spoilt the kids with little homemade treats. Margaret organised and helped us with anything we asked for with a smile. We had the barbecue on the beach on our last evening, and it was amazing. The octopus was the best we ever had, and it was such a wonderful experience. We did a snorkelling trip and a sunset cruise organised by Margaret on a beautiful dhowe, both being lovely trips. We will recommend everyone to stay at Matumani. We hope to be back one day.

It is commendable how just within about a month of operations the resort has achieved so much! We were there for about 8 nights. And it was amazingly peaceful. From a lovely beach view, access to the ocean at all hours, friendly staff to the care and attention we got, the stay and our experience was superlative. A special mention to the Chef and his kitchen staff who make 5-star rated food available to every guest for all meals. The presentation to the taste, we used to keep waiting for the day's special everyday. One of the most memorable holidays we have had and definitely going back soon to experience this rendezvous with nature in the best possible setting. Went as strangers, came back missing friends at Zanzibar.

Beautiful place where even small details are well considered. Owners Thomas and Malgo are extremely professional and ready to make your vacation wonderful. Their chef/cook is making wonderful dishes that beats easily the food at The Rock restaurant. Their masseur at SPA is really good!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed, making it a perfect getaway for a couple 💕 The staff was super friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Additionally, the restaurant offered delicious food that exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and quality. We loved everything during our stay. Especially our 2,5 years old son Adam was so happy there. Very kind, better say friendly employees and the manager too. All of them still smiling, helpfull and villing to make our wishes come true. Truly cozy room and the whole resort. A huge portions of food that was always soooo delicius. It's gonna be extremely demanding for local management and staff to do additional improvements of any kind 😏👍.
