The hotel was amazing! Best trip ever! All the food was so delicious and felt so fresh and clean. The stuff was so kind and helpful, and helped us with booking trips around the island. Also the facilities was great. Nice pool, sunbeds, places to chill and nice bar. We miss the hotel already! 10/10!!!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay and the services at the hotel. The accommodation in the three-bed Deluxe room was excellent. Cleaning was done every day and the accommodation was beautifully clean. Every evening the maid came to spray insect spray. Breakfast really wide selection. In the restaurant you can have a great lunch or dinner. We were never disappointed with our choice and the food was always delicious and perfectly prepared and also beautiful looking. The serving staff was attentive and perfect. Always smiling exactly as it should be. The sun loungers on the beach are under umbrellas that provide shade all day. We rate the accommodation at the hotel as fantastic and if we have the opportunity we will come here again.

We greatly enjoyed ZAMU BOUTIQUE HOTEL. Service was excellent, food was very good with a lovely breakfast overlooking the water, and the location perfect for exploring Stone Town. The rooms were lovely and clean and I felt very safe there. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. for sure i will come back again next time!!

This was booked for my parents, and this review is per my dad's feedback: ' Well, what can I say? It was the best vacation we have had, and it is so wonderful to see the hospitality in Zanzibar. As well travelled Tanzanians, we thought it was time to try a staycation at home. It truly did not disappoint. The staff were fantastic. They truly could not do enough for us, both management and waiting staff. The facilities and rooms were very spacious. We were upgraded to the beach view rooms. The choice of food was fantastic and the quality was excellent. There was a big choice of activities that were on offer. We would definitely return. '

Amazing location, right on the beach. Large sea-facing room on 1st floor has the most spectacular terrace we’ve seen - around 30 m2 overlooking the beach, with water few meters from the hotel. Room and the terrace occupies entire front of the building, so guests enjoy total privacy.

Generally, a lovely and intimate establishment with staff that care for your personal needs. The manager is so friendly and always wants to know how the guests are doing. The most beautiful sunrises. The performances add to the spice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The nearby beaches are scenic, but there are some important things to consider. The ocean is full of sea urchins, making swimming risky without proper footwear. During the day, low tide pulls the water far from the shore, so swimming may not always be possible. If you walk toward the reef, expect to be approached frequently by local beach vendors, which can feel intrusive — especially when you're clearly not carrying money. Local security presence is minimal, so don't expect much intervention in these situations. It's best to come prepared and manage your expectations if you're looking for a peaceful swim.

This part of Zanzibar offers a quieter, more serene setting compared to some of the more tourist-heavy areas. One of the things we appreciated most was that we weren’t constantly approached by local vendors, allowing us to fully relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

Authentic village. We didn't want to be in a resort. The villagers were so friendly and wanted nothing in return apart from a hello back. There is a little shop just outside the gate for water etc. We got fruit for smoothies from the fruit stall in the village, they also sold sprite etc, there was a mobile shop and two lovely seafood restaurants. Our favourite was Mzuri run by a really friendly guy Hassan, wonderful succulent seafood. We loved it. It was just what we were looking for - authentic and local. The road is not graded, but I walk with a stick and it was fine for me. A few stretches were unlit but we take head torches.

The food was OK, the room was massively spacious and i loved it ,staff were friendly despite communication breakdown in most instances due to language barriers. Mr Betrand was so sweet a staff he made our stay so memorable always caring and bringing out the best out of us. Remo the property manager was awesome 👌

That has been a wonderful stay The hotel is brand new, located in a nice area - 5 minutes walking from open air club and leisure centre. It is a 7 minutes drive from the village centre where you can find a lot of local shops, supermarkets, and cafes The hotel has very calm relaxing atmosphere with a nice beach, great service, exceptional food The room was very spacious with a nice amenities. There is a coffee machine, so I could enjoy my cup of espresso in the morning ☺️ Definitely, I will book my next stay at this property again

It was a last-minute booking, and it turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Zanzibar. We loved the apartment, the beach, and the village. Maria is a superhost—she provided us with restaurant recommendations and organized our transfers. The morning breakfast on the terrace is something to write home about. I sincerely recommend it!

We loved this beautiful beachfront hotel. The staff were extremly friendly, the room was spacious and clean. The location is in a pleasantly quiet area, ideal for relaxation. I highly recommend Ahmed's massage service. This is the perfect hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway
