These cottages are beautiful! The grounds are amazing and well kept. This was some of the nicest landscaping I've seen in the area! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice and they kept time very well and had breakfast on the table at exactly the time we requested. The pork at the restaurant onsite was very nice!

David is an exceptional host with an amazing sense for the environment in Uganda. He used plastic bottles which laid around in the villages to recycle them and build the small tiny cottages which is all you need. Exceptional food and staff. Perfect location for the shoebill tours - the lodge is lakefront and has its own boat for a guide to take you. Great room, amazing pool and birdlife at the lodge itself. We loved our stay - John (chef) and Joanne our amazing host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time and were well fed with healthy and delicious food. Staff were always on hand helping us at our crazy arrival and departure times. We hope to come back again to stay at the lodge and see the beautiful shoebill once more.
