The team is incredibly helpful and thoughtful, the views are insane, the ambience serene and tranquil, the rooms are sparklingly clean and constantly refreshed. What a service! We had a wonderful stay at Mianzi Guest House, the rooms were simple but spacious and clean, the common area was very nice to sit in, the breakfast and dinner were fantastic. But what really stood out was the staff, Emma and his team really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay, they provided everything we needed, even joined us on our tours. We planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 5, i think thats telling enough how good it was :) Oh and the view of the Volcanoes in the morning is absolutely incredible!

From the moment I arrived at the airstrip,the lodge had arranged for a driver to pick me up, to arriving at the lodge,the hospitality was exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind ,they made me feel right at home. The lodge is beautifully perched in the hills, offering stunning views of the surrounding forest and mountains. Waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and seeing the morning mist drift through the trees was simply magical. The rooms at Kaara Mountain Lodge are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed. There’s a perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and eco-friendliness. I especially appreciated the little touches, like the cozy hot water bottles in the bed at night and the warm turndown service after a long day. The food was another standout ;fresh, delicious, and made with great care. Each meal, from the early breakfast before trekking to the hearty dinner in the evening, was a treat. The dining area itself is beautifully set, making every meal feel special. Most importantly, the lodge is ideally located for gorilla tracking, making the logistics incredibly easy. After an awe-inspiring day of encountering mountain gorillas, returning to the calm and comfort of Kaara Mountain Lodge was the perfect way to unwind and reflect on such a unique experience.

Great place! We stayed there for two nights and it was amazing. The lodge is beautiful and the staff is superfriendly. They even preheated our beds with hot water bottles. Really nice lodge and very close to Rushaga entrance, we would stay there anytime again.

Beautiful location, and our room was excellent - nicely decorated very private, with a stunning view. The food was very well prepared, and the staff all very friendly and helpful. Our server, Blair, was really professional, and lovely.

It‘s an amazing place in Kisoro. It’s clean, big and cozy. The staff and the manager Ivan are incredible friendly and helpful. He took us for a walk through the authentic Kisoro and showed us the best sunset-viewpoint. He helped us planning all our activities in Uganda and we booked our Gorilla trekking experience with them. We can highly recommend to do this as well. We would stay there anytime again!

The guesthouse is on the outskirts of Kisoro and is set amidst a beautiful garden. The rooms are comfortable and have all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast (and in fact all the food we tried) complete with home-made bread, cakes and pastries is delicious. And Joseph is an amazing host - friendly, attentive and very flexible. Highly recommended!
