They upgraded me to a nicer room for free since the nicer rooms weren’t full! The double enclosed room I stayed in was really nice. Big shower with hot water, a nice deck with a desk and chair, comfy beds. The restaurant made good food. The property was gorgeous and right on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You could walk to the Rushaga gate in 10-15 minutes. They had a beautiful deck overlooking the forest and meadow. The staff was very friendly and helpful and shared about the local culture and history around the campfire at night.

A wonderfull wiev over the lake. We did enjoy the atmosohere by the peacefull place. The food was tasty and healthy. We did prefere the local organic food which was made for us in the restaurant. Also the breakfest was splendid every morning. San was the chef who made tasty vegeterian food for us from local organig ingredients. Peace was the best ever as a waitress, as she was smiling and talking with us . The cottage we had was perfekt with the astonishing wy to the blue lake. We did watch the birds, the stars and we made a wonderfull boattrip on the lake. We had also a trip to a village of pygmis. At the last night we did see a flying star! Then we had the change to hope that we could come back here again! There was also time to make some jogapractising by own. We did read books. We did make meditation daily by ourselves. Also we had time to make watercoulourpainting by us selves of the landscapes. I tried to paint the landscapes which did very much remaind me of William Turners paintings Everything was organaised by a fantastic personal! We were kept so well that it felt almost like at home. The owner Edvard was so kind. He did organise everything for us. It was so nice to visite the pygmivillage and dance with them. Edvard took us to the border of Ruanda. He did help to get trough the formalities. Ores was the excellent guide on our boattrips! Ores took care of telling us how to behave at pygmivillage. He did also tell us very many stories about Uganda. Kampu was the expert to make campfire and drive the motorboat. He was always polite and helpful. Charkotte, the manager, was keeping everything in excellent hands. Always smiling and always helping in everything. With the experiencis of travelling more than hundred countries we do highly recommend this lovely gorgeous place Lake resort! We do both feel like new persons after spending four nights there!! Beautiful suites with private verandas with gorgeous outlook on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest! The staff were amazing and very accommodating. They took care of our every need to insure our comfort including washing our muddy hiking boots!

The owner was helpful and friendly, she contact me before my trip on whatsapp, and gived good information. The accomodation is a new builded house, beutifull. The breakfast and the dinnervwas tasty a plenty. The accomodation is near the gorilla track meeting point. The owner put the fire to dry the wet shoos for the next day gorilla track. I can recommend the accomodation, Make sure you choose this one

Staff went above and beyond - manager took me on a day tour of Lake Bunyonyi himself and also arranged my transport across the border to Ruhengiri in Rwanda. Super helpful! Restaurant is well priced and good food as well and the grounds are super nice and relaxing

The accommodation is in a beautiful location on Lake Bunyonyi. The accommodation is very clean and the staff are impeccable. Especially Fiona was very smiley and ready to help with anything. Definitely rent a traditional canoe and take a trip to the nearby islands alone or with a group

This place is the ultimate place to explore the beauty of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the patio is breathtaking, and the Villa is well equipped with everything you need. I truely enjoyed the atmosphere during our stay, as it feels as if you are on your own planet, as there is just you and the incredible beauty of the lake and its nature, as you overlook the whole scenery. Could have spend all day just sitting there and enjoy the beauty of it all. Pure joy.
