I would NEVER stay at the Staybridge Suites in Ann Arbor, Michigan. What I was charged for a Suite was too much $. Hotel suite was outdated and shabby. I have pictures of worn out furniture. The 3 nights that I stayed at the hotel my room was NEVER serviced. I called front desk every day and was told my room would be serviced after ai complained abs had to ask for clean towels. I was offered sheets ti change my bed myself and told come to front desk to pick up. Every day as I left hotel I was told my room would be cleaned. It wasn’t. I have pictures of each day. I paid too much money and should be compensated. Friont desk made excuses. Told me to email GM. Even told me that It’s a Booking.com issue. we did not come to see the city, but for a Kellogg Eye Center visit. It makes for a long appointment with hours of sitting and waiting with minutes here of pictures and talking to multiple people before seeing the real doctors. At least this is somewhat away from the hospital and the parking garage there. Sorry we never come for the city, though in past traveling through the roads seems tight and parking bad. This was our first time in Ann Arbor and simply put Ann Arbor is a beautiful city and the people are very friendly with the exception of the McDonald's on Washtenaw. My wife and I had terrible service there. The workers that we had to endure acted like they didn't want to be there, and they didn't want us there as well. After we paid for our food, we left McDonald's and went down the street to Bob Evans and were treated very nicely by their staff. We did not eat the McDonalds, nor did we raise a fuss. With crummy service like that I could not trust the food so better to err on the side of caution. Getting around Ann Arbor is fairly easy, and the downtown area is beautiful. We were there for medical reasons but the next time we are there we would like to explore this beautiful city more. The UofM hospital was amazing! This small-town guy had never seen a hospital that big before and I was impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the staff there from the parking attendant when we first arrived to the reception area and to the medical staff. The staff helped me a lot by answering questions as well as borrowing scissors etc. I used a rent a car so the proximity to the free way and a free parking lot are very important.
