    I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on...

    I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.

    They leave the best attraction out of this.

    They leave the best attraction out of this. I have no idea why it wouldn't be the greatest attraction. Which is- THE KERN RIVER - OR some like myself refer to it as the CANYON . BEAUTIFUL AN GRET PLACE TO GO AN GET LOST IN IN YOUR THOUGHTS AN AWAY FROM THE CHAOTIC CITY. JUST TRY AND STAY OUT THE WATER BECAUSE YOU WILL DISAPPEAR AN DIE . 100% IVE BEEN IN IT A FEW TIMES, ONLY IF ITS TO MY ANKLES. IT LOOKS CALM AN SOOTHING BUT CURRENT IS ALOT STRONGER THAN YOU THINK IT LOOKS . THE UNDER CURRENT WILL PULL YOU DOWN AND TAKE YOU LIKE NOTHING. DONT MATTER IF YOUR AN OLYMPIC SWIMMER OR NOT YOUR GOING TO DROWN . THE HAVE A DEATH TOLL NUMBER IN THE BEGINNING JUST AS YOUR ENTERING THE CANYON . LAST TIME I WENT, I BELIEVE IT WAS@374 LIVES TAKEN .

    Bakersfield was not a place that Id care to visit .

    Bakersfield was not a place that Id care to visit . It's a convenient city on my long drive up to northern CA. I thought the city wasn't safe at all with homeless and probably addicts hanging around. Finding a hotel that'd make you feel safe as well as your car and belongings is definitely a good thing!

    I stayed at the hotel two nights outbound on my trip and also returning from my trip and the dinner meals were outstanding. The salmon and everything on the first night was cooked to perfection but the other night that I stayed was, they had a steak and vegetables and again the steak and the vegetables were just outstanding. Hope you keep up this program and also on the last trip I inadvertently left my down vest hanging in the closet and my daughter called the hotel a week or two later and you had the jacket and lost and found, and you mailed it to her so that I can get it back again. Outstanding service could not be more pleased.

    When I arrived at the hotel I had to wait for 1/2 hour for...

    When I arrived at the hotel I had to wait for 1/2 hour for maintenance to install a new A/C unit. Also, the coffee maker didn't work and I had to use a towel to catch the liquid coming out of the coffee maker before it fell on the carpet and I was charged $35 for a "stain" on the towel, which could have been washed out.

    Staying here was very great. The staff are very respectful. It’s clean the showers the room. The bedding towels are new, but it is very great to stay there and I really do recommend this hotels. Very good.

    An overnight stay on our way to LAX. Nice welcome from the man on reception who changed our room to suit our situation more closely. The option was his suggestion and the two bed room really worked for us. Huge room was very clean and with modern décor that echoed the hotel building and location. Facilities in the room were good and breakfast fine. Lovely comfy beds. Good lighting. Friendly and efficient staff - see above and woman on reception printed our boarding passes with a smile. Charming room service manager.

    Lovely hotel in a gorgeous City. Friendly staff. Just a few minutes by car to downtown. We did our laundry in the locked guest laundry room. Everything went completely uncomplicated. 30 min. for washing, another 30 min. for drying. Got soap at the front desk. Continental Breakfast with Waffles and everything was good standard for America.
