Big Rapids is a family-friendly small town with a nice...
Big Rapids is a family-friendly small town with a nice riverwalk trail, interesting and walkable downtown and college campus areas, and some very picturesque views. There were a lot of empty shops downtown but the area felt safe and looked like it was fairly active during the day. An hour or so of driving brings you to Lake Michigan or Grand Rapids, and the area features parks, hiking, mountain bike trails, and more. We visited the city to take part in an orientation at Ferris State University, but our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the area beyond just the campus tour.Guest review byChrisUnited States - 10.0

I recommend this hotel for a short stay in Big Rapids. The staff was pleasant and polite, and the room was clean. There were no issues with the stay, and my family felt safe with the covid precautions. We were glad to see a return to a regular hot breakfast buffet and would definitely stay here again.Guest review byJuliaUnited States
