I am a very capricious customer. It’s really hard to make me happy. But finally, I found an exceptional hotel where I was completely satisfied and couldn’t find any negatives. First of all, in my comments I noted about my sleep issues and required the quiet room. For two nights I didn't hear a single noise. They made sure that we don't have neighbors and provided us away from the elevators. Secondly, we haven't seen any housekeeping neither in the floor nor in our room. But every single time we returned, it was cleaned, and they brought us some sweet treats, which made my 7-year-old boy very happy. Thirdly, the receptionist, the concierge, and the bell staff were extremely kind and helpful. The bell staff opened the door, helped with luggage, and asked if we needed any assistance each time. The very first moment, one of them politely asked if it was our first time and gave directions to the check-in floor. Also, the person who checked us in did his best, and we were able to check in early. He kindly offered to hold our bags while we took a quick walk to Totte across the road. I was happy and satisfied. I travel a lot and often.

Everything. From the moment I called for an early check in to the staff sending up a bday gift when my friends told them why we were there. The cozy lay out, room to building. We’re not in Copley anymore. The trip up to the observation deck. Perfect experience start to finish.

FAQs about hotels in Boston

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.

The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.

The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.

Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.

The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

What Guests Said About Boston:

Boston is a very beautiful city with lots to do and see.

Boston is a very beautiful city with lots to do and see. The city itself is a 10/10. However, the people are very rude and the streets are a nightmare. We were constantly getting honked at and flipped off for no reason. The streets are very confusing. I would recommend getting a taxi if you are not a confident driver. The towns surrounding it are beautiful and historic. You cannot beat the views.

A big city with a lot of history.

A big city with a lot of history. The Freedom Trail takes you to all the historic sites and past many famous landmarks. Take the train to get to other destinations and catch a Bruins game when they are playing at home. Check out the Union Oyster House for a delicious meal in a building with lots to learn about. In the winter go prepared for the cold, the tall building block out the sun and the wind whips right down between them. Beantown has so much to offer everyone from the young kids to the adults that love the city vibe.

Love Boston, first time back in along time.

Love Boston, first time back in along time. First time bringing a family. Me, my wife and my 2 year old son. Had a great time. Did the freedom trail tour, went to Quincy market had some great food. Like the commons and public garden very pretty. Went to the New England Aquarium definitely worth the trip it was my son’s favorite part. We also did the duck boats that was my first time and I had a blast my personal favorite part of the trip. I even got to drive the duck boats. The city is clean and safe. Would say if your traveling with little ones it takes some work to find family friendly restaurant, and not super fancy. Would recommend coming here and definitely going to be coming back ourselves. Next time to see a Redsox game

We stayed at the Godfrey Hotel for four nights - we loved the city of Boston and found that the time we spent there allowed us to comfortably see all of the sights we wanted to see. We did not make it over to Harvard, but probably could have still fit it in, had we wanted to. We walked everywhere despite the cold weather - did not feel the need to use the Tube at all, however would have if we were travelling a bit further for dinner in the evenings, but that was not the case as there were restaurants close to the hotel that were reviewed highly.

Boston is a beautiful city - and the fall leaves everywhere while I was there made it even more spectacular! It feels safe to walk around and the running routes are magnificent. I always enjoy the green spaces available in the city. Although eating out is very expensive, there is a HUGE choice of restaurants and the food is always delicious. There is very good shopping.

We had a great time following the Freedom Trail.

We had a great time following the Freedom Trail. The Fine Arts Museum was excellent. We spent an entire day finding Atlas Obscura sites, so much fun! We bought a week-long transit pass and used it extensively - Boston's transit is great (I didn't know that Boston's subway is the oldest in the country - check out the Park Street T station for an interesting mural about that). We were only in Boston for a week and were sad to leave. Didn't get to see any sporting events or the Gardner Museum. We could have used at least another week.

We love staying here after long flights. The harbor view from the room was spectacular. The rooms are huge and comfy. The restaurant is excellent. The staff are super-friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the airport with a continuous shuttle service. I you want, the water taxi to downtown Boston is right outside the door.  It's not exactly cheap, but the price is quite reasonable considering the room, view, location and restaurant. (See photo for the view from our room.)
