Loved the free soup in the evening. It was chili the night I was there and it was delicious and hit the spot! Breakfast was very good too. Room was clean, great bed and nice tv selection.

Wow is all I can say. I actually was staying at the place because of an appointment with CMAC the following day. The staff was amazing and caring. The room was very clean and well kept. The only lil thing was some crumbs and dust under the microwave and top of the t.v. was some dust. But hey besides that amazing. I have ocd for cleaning so I was searching to see things. Lol. But Kristen was very help with registration and explaining some things as far as them processing credit cards at 4am for that next days reservation, which I have never had that done before. But she explained and told me what to except on my credit card, etc. I am a smoker and went outside to smoke, the exits was well lit, and I felt safe going outside by myself. I honestly do not have anything bad to say about my stay.

    DO NOT STAY!

    DO NOT STAY! The place is filthy, smells and I have several bites I believe from fleas. I usually don’t complain but this was totally unacceptable. And they charge you$100.00 deposit on a charge card once you get there to make sure you don’t damage or take anything. If the room is alright after you check out they take off the deposit in 3-5 days they say. I wouldn’t stay even if it was free now that I have seen how the rooms are. The 1st room smelled like farm animals and had no shower head only a pipe coming out of the wall so then we moved to another room that was filthy! Sticky floor that had not been swept for at least a month with the amount of garbage under the desk and between furniture and the top of the bed skirt had hair and people’s dry skin and dust all over it. We left the lights on all night because I was concerned about bugs with it being that dirty. I wanted to leave but it was late in the evening when we arrived. It’s sad because the reviews we read were pretty decent but could not have been true. You would be better off staying at a rest stop! This owner needs to be shut down!

    They are either remodeling or have remodeled and it is a very clean, low key, drama free hotel that goes above and beyond for these customers. Will stay no where else when visiting Charleston, WV.
