Everything we needed was in the area within a mile or two. Lots of traffic near facilities. Not always easy getting in to facility because of traffic. Pizza place right around the corner. Breakfast available near by. We went to Bar Harbor, so we didn't do anything in town.Guest review byAiken - 8.0

Only complaint I would have is they have a wonderful Contential Breakfast but eggs, etc. were cold. It would be great if they could figure out a way to keep them hot. Acadia National Park is a short drive and was amazing, and the drive to the summit of Cadillac Mountain is well worth the $6 reservation fee. However, the loss of my lifetime park pass due to the very strong winds at the summit, ended up costing me a good deal more than the reservation fee. Wish I had had more time to visit more of Maine, but couldn't do it this trip. Especially would like to visit Mt. Katahdin in the future.Guest review byDella - 4.0
Very outdated and the bed was so uncomfortable.
Very outdated and the bed was so uncomfortable. It was a spring mattress on wood and barely off the ground. This was in a handicap accessible shower room yet you can not get out of the bed which defeats the purpose. Will not stay again. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. In the lobby of the hotel there was a machine that you could be used to make coffee and tea any time of the day. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was quite basic but filling: in the lobby you could make toast, and there was porridge, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and juices, which you could take to your room. The hotel room was very clean, the bed quite comfortable, location superb, and the staff met every expectation. We stayed our previous night in Augusta but wish, now, that we'd booked both nights in Ellsworth.
