Stayed at this hotel while dropping my daughter at college. We booked a bit last minute and were travelling from overseas and were a bit nervous about the hotel quality. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, the location was perfect considering we were driving with just a short walk to Target and supermarket. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very happy with our stay and will be back again.

Good location and easy to find. Modern building and good parking. Rooms were clean and well equipped, bed was comfortable and bathroom and shower well appointed. Breakfast was excellent especially for a complimentary breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful

Greeted by friendly staff. Room was nice and clean. Bed was so comfy. We got a good night's sleep. The breakfast was what you would find as your typical free breakfast choices. Coffee was good and hot.

    I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BY DOWNTOWN AS IT WAS HEAVILY INFESTED BY HOMELESS AND/OR DRUG ADDICTS. SIGNS WERE POSTED EVERYWHERE SAYING BEWARE AND NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS, LOCK YOUR CARS, ETC... COMPLETELY DID NOT FEEL SAFE FOR MYSELF OR MY VEHICLE.

    I liked Paynes Prairie visitor center and trails. I wish I had taken a trip to the historic town of Micanopy. Unfortunately, the Museum of Natural History with butterfly exhibit is closed for renovation until 2026.

    Great selection of restaurants.

    Great selection of restaurants. Really enjoy staying at the Country Inn and Suites. Breakfast always good. Staff very friendly. Rooms are very comfortable. Getting around Gainesville is extraordinarily easy. Always plenty of things to do if you are so inclined.

    Great breakfast offerings.

    Great breakfast offerings. The area to dine and eat was good, the area to get the breakfast items was cramped and hard to navigate if more than 3 people were in the room. Otherwise impressive operation. The room was much bigger than expected and convenient to the lobby. The room smelled musty initially however it was fine once we moved around and aired out the room. The shower was great and the soaps that were offered were very good. The room and bed was very clean. Will recommend this hotel to others and will stay again.

    It was located very close to the Dental School at FU which is where we wanted to be. It was near many good Restaurants and shopping. The hotel had a very nice and comfortable breakfast area with a variety of food to select from. There was 24 hour coffee and tea available. The staff were all very friendly and always smiling. Our room was very nice and spacious. The towels seemed new and were good quality. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
