The hotel is exactly what we thought it would be. It wasn't fancy, but felt secure and had what we needed. The room and furnishings were worn and the bed was not the most comfortable, however, the room was clean and was a good stopping place for us. It served its purpose for the night. It is nicely located on Main Street, so we were able to walk to dinner and a donut shop in the morning.

Room was clean, large, and comfortable. Great location, very close to downtown and across the street from grocery store and a gas station. Lady at front desk was friendly. I have already stayed at the other hotel in town. Red Bud Hotel was cleaner, more updated amenities, had a hair dryer, and actually had an extra blanket! (most hotels dont) I will be staying here again.

I was really surprised by the size, upgrades, and cleanliness of the room. My first time in Goldthwaite, I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd definitely stat here again.
