We enjoy exploring the many lakes around Heber.
We enjoy exploring the many lakes around Heber. There are plenty of hiking trails, back roads and amazing views. We especially love the scenery on the drive to Woods Canyon Lake - park your car and walk to the edge - it feels like you're standing on top of the world, literally! It's truly breathtaking! On our drive to Black Canyon Lake, wild horses ran down onto the road in front of us. That was a surprise and amazing to see! Willow Springs Lake is our favorite lake, by far! Quiet, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. Since we travel with our dogs, we cook most of our meals at the cabin but did have lunch one day at Smoke Signals Grillhouse. We were able to sit on the patio with the dogs and enjoy a great meal! We love the quaintness of the town - Heber Market, Windy Hills Lavendar Farm, and the little shops in Bison Town.
