    I have been visiting Jekyl Island for over 30 years and have seen it grow. I am glad however they kept it a small town feel. Love the historical district and the Jekyll Island Club. Have stayed at the Historic Club several times and also at the beach resort. Looking forward to that again.

    The people we met working on Jekyll Island were so friendly...

    The people we met working on Jekyll Island were so friendly and welcoming! The island has a very peaceful/quiet atmosphere. There were no crowds. Driftwood beach was just amazing. We loved the grounds of the Jekyll Island club. The trolley tour is a must. The restaurants were great- Tortuga Jack’s, Willets Low Country and of course Jekyll and Tide. All worth the price. It was so easy driving around the island. The next time, we will rent a golf cart. we will definitely be back-it is my new favorite escape Jekyll realty was wonderful to work with, making our stay very easy.

    The Hampton Inn and Suites was isolated enough to seem like we were the only ones on the island. But not too isolating because restaurants and other stores were close by. Food choices were great and the taste of the food was also wonderful! We ate at Corridor Z and Millet’s Low Country Boil. The short drive to Driftwood Beach was well worth it!!!

    The island is basically our most favorite vacation spot for short visits. We enjoyed being able to ride bicycles on the trails and especially on the beach from the pier to Driftwood Beach at low tide. The Dolphon tour was really great this time; the dolphins really performed well for us. My wife has been going to Jekyll since her teenage years, over 50 years now. We will continue to visit. I wouldn't consideer ourselves among the younger couples any longer.

    My favorite place to hang out and we have been coming here...

    My favorite place to hang out and we have been coming here for many years. There’s no shortage of activities. It gets a bit crowded during the high season but that’s to be expected. The main attraction is, of course, the peace and tranquility of the beaches and the charming historic district. There’s no better place to watch a sunrise or sunset.

    Did not like reservation or cancellation system at hotel… were booked before Hurricane Idalia struck. Our stay was supposed to be 8/31 thru 9/4. Could not travel from Florida to Georgia because we were advised to stay off the roads. Never received Discover CREDIT for cancelled hotel days. Will reach out to my local TV station who handle complaints. Hope to get some TV time.

    Breakfast is great! Good selection and the area is very clean, the staff is very helpful. Location is also great, there are some shops in walking distance for convenience. The hotel is very clean, the pool area is also very nice, I highly recommend to visit this hotel.

    The location was very good and close to all that Jekyll Island has to offer. The island is pretty self-contained. The room (119) was spacious and the bed although very low to the floor slept well. The window blinds were a nice touch. They were modern and installed correctly.

    Jekyll Islands as such is a wonderful spot, but the Beachview is a real highlight. It’s directly at the magnificent shore. Haven’t seen a better a better place on the island. The team was super friendly and the rooms are nice with direct ocean view.
