This is my 2nd time staying here. This place is great. The manager is so very nice and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable and it's a good location to go into town or the beach.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the inn keeper to show us around. She could not have been nicer. We had warm cookies and some wine. Breakfast the next day was absolutely delicious. It included a warm apple compote, blueberry French toast, and local sausage. The chef even accommodated my dairy allergy. Everyone in the breakfast room was raving about the food!

I hope to have the opportunity to stay again sooner than later Right from the check in to feeling a certain sad feeling driving to leave...definitely checking to see if they offer weekly or monthly rentals... that would be too perfect. The ppl that own and run things for the property are so kind and down to earth.. they made us feel like we were valued guests and that was a great feeling I have not gotten at other rental opportunities. 10 out of 10 hands down thank you for a wonderful experience!

    We loved how close it was to Kennebunkport so we could enjoy both areas. We stayed up and down the coast but would stay in this area the whole time on our next trip. And there will be a next trip for sure!

    We live in Mid Coast are Maine and this was a perfect area to start our road trip vacation. If you are thinking of coming to Maine I can not recommend this area more, you could spend a day like we did just walking around town visiting all the shops and eating lunch. There are so many choices. My favorite store was The Compliments Art Gallery.

    The Waze navigator had trouble getting us to the motel and around Kennebunk. Google Maps were much better for that location. Spent our free time with friends who live in Kennebunk. Didn't have time to visit different places.

    Quintessential Maine Coastal town, we love being tourists there, and always enjoy great service and amazing food!! Try Lost Fire, if you're a steak lover, and the Tides is wonderful food with a great menu!! We ride bikes, go to the beautiful beaches and wandering thru the many art galleries and great shops!

    Great if you want to get away from all the hustle of the tourist beaches. Parsons Beach was great, could spread out without being ontop of the person/family next to you. Nice cove and early mornings when tide was out, saw a few fishermen. It was nice to go back to the cottage and relax, and do family entertainment. We brought games and had game night on Saturday night after a bit in Kennebunkport. Eating at our favorite place of 28years is Federal Jacks, has the best kids menu (though our kids are past that) and we ate at the clam shack for the first time. Congdon donuts is a must at least once. Be prepared to wait (even at 6:01am). Though they have it down and the line moved quickly.

    I went to participate in an art workshop at the classy Arundel Farm Gallery. It was fantastic, run by a warm and welcoming host with a terrific instructor. I enjoyed dinners at Wanby Landing and Arundel Wharf.

    I would highly recommend staying at the Lodge at Kennebunk. The location was ideal being so close to major coastal Maine tourist locations. If only I had know that this place was only a 20-30 min drive to the Portland area (Using tolls which were very cheap) then I would have booked this place for our first night too. The owner was very friendly and had a great sense of humour. Room was clean and very spacious and the price was just about the best you can find in this area.

    We arrived very late but it was very easy to find. The room is very big and clean and has all the cooking facilities in the room like cooker microwave, fridge, and even washing up liquid . All in all it is a very nice hotel.
