Less than a one hour drive to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and downtown Cincinnati. There was alot of traffic however. The location is great, so close to Kings Island and there is a Waffle House just across the street, and lots of other food options just a block or so away. Staff is always helpful and friendly too. It isn't a palace but you have everything you need. The rooms are well kept, and always clean. Towels always look new without stains or wear. Mason is a good location for a variety of food options & entertainment. We had a train excursion (train ride/lunch at the historic Golden Lamb/craft activity/ice cream at the Old Fashioned Village Ice Cream Parlor in Lebanon). They did not show specific pictures of the suit we were looking at so the room was a disappointment. We thought it had more room to move around and a dining table. The carpet is very worn. The building was older and the renovations/updates are as well as can be expected for the cost of the stay. The breakfast area was incredibly clean and a fair selection of foods, you could say safe foods for all different diets. Overall it was not a bad stay, but you can not expect The Ritz accommodations for the low cost of a stay there - you get what you pay for.
