The facilities were clean - I loved the full size fridge and the little stove. Made a big difference. The bed was comfortable, the tv was good, and overall I was impressed with the room.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities, while obviously not 5 star were there to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The location is also extremely handy to travel around and the rooms are very comfortable. WiFi is also better than most.

The location of the hotel is right off I-94. So it was super easy to get to. There wasn't much around that was within walking distance of the hotel, but in turn the street that the hotel is located on was not heavily traveled. You could hear the noise from the highway in our room but our room also faced the highway, otherwise we never heard any of our neighbors or anything. There is a security cop that drives around the area at night. They provide a standard Continental breakfast (waffles, eggs and a meat or biscuits and gravy, muffins, juice, bagels, coffee, yogurt, cereal, and fruit). The staff was very friendly and happy. The atmosphere in the lobby area is professional but very cozy and relaxing. They have a seating area in front of a fireplace when you walk in the front door. The also have a library and several table and chairs to sit at anytime of the day. They have an indoor pool with lots of seating options. Unfortunately they do not have a hot tub in the pool area. They have a fitness room and they also have 2 washers and dryers for guest to use to wash their clothes. The parking lot is very well lit up all the way around the building. I felt safe there no matter if it was day or night. Our room was beyond what I was expecting compared to their pictures. I had an executive King Suite and there was more than enough room that 4-5 adults could move around the room without tripping over each other. The bed was extremely comfortable; along with the sofa, arm chair, and office chair. The atmosphere in the room was very warm and inviting and I felt like I was going home.

    1) In a recent stay (July 11 - 14), Extended Stay was unable to honor the requested Disability Access/Non-Smoking room and the location blamed booking.com for their (Extended Stay's) failure to provide the requested reservation. Extended stay had the request more than a month in advance. 2) Extended stay fails to provide an obvious method of knowing what will be provided at their locations without drilling down into your website to identify what a property provides. It is unreasonable to charge for a towel exchange when only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths are provided for a multi-day stay. 3) The site provided one (1) throw-away cup for a 2 person rental and the front desk just said that's all we provide. Great customer service??? 4) The signs around the property advertise a "fully equipped kitchen" and the cabinets are empty with a flyer indicating a Cookware Kit is available for $39.99 and a Dinnerware Kit for $19.99. Please provide your definition of a "fully equipped kitchen" and make it clear on your website during the reservation process. This feedback will be provided to anyone asking about our experience with Extended Stay. Very poor communication and accommodations for the cost. It's certainly not about the customer.
