    It was far enough away from the beaten track to feel like we...

    It was far enough away from the beaten track to feel like we were truly away from it all, but close enough to enjoy eating takeout and exploring nearby Cle Elum. We are lifetime Washington State residents and thus have been through the area multiple times, but we had never actually stayed there. This extended stay enabled us to explore and enjoy the area. My favorite discovery was Lake Cle Elum. The first area you see is residential, but driving further brings you to a truly beautiful mountain lake.
