RomaniaIt is very cozy and clean. Despite we came to visit San Francisco, it turned to be quite close to it. 25 min by car, a lovely drive. I loved the tea and coffee station in the lobby available 24 h. Great quality. I also liked they had the laundry facility available for the guest. Sooo convenient when you travel weeks. Nice neighborhood .

Important basics, cleanliness, bed and bedding, bathroom and towels are good.
Breakfast is low key but healthy and fresh. Coffee very good.
It's quiet, easy to get to with good restaurants nearby.
Try it. Keep an open mind it will surprise you in a good wY.

Novato is a quiet suburb north of San Francisco.
Novato is a quiet suburb north of San Francisco. It is mainly a working class town with a few enclaves of expensive large houses on acreage lots. There is also an area of large rural properties where horses are popular as well as other barnyard animals. Access to the ocean is via Novato Blvd. ( a central street running through the center of town ); following Novato Blvd. west is a beautiful 45 minute drive to the town of Point Reyes Station and the Pacific Ocean beaches just beyond (10 minute drive further west). Lovely visitor friendly beaches and hiking areas. Local shops & good restaurants, a bakery, a grocery store are all available in the town of Point Reyes Station if you take the ride to the oceanGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0
This hotel is a great value!
This hotel is a great value! It's not fancy but it's clean and they are working at updating the rooms. It's close to Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods and downtown San Francisco but it's far enough away that it feels safe and it's very affordable. There wasn't much for breakfast but the breakfasts aren't great even at the hotels that have a lot of offerings for breakfast. We ended up stopping to eat at the Marin French Cheese Co. and highly recommend it.Guest review byChristina - 10.0

It's a small town surrounded by hills and beautiful landscapes. It's full of Ma and Pa's businesses. It's relaxing. Sit at the lounge and have a coffee, You'll feel that time just stopped. Perfect for those who don't want to be in the city but convenient enough to visit to San Francisco. And convenient to visit the wine country of Sonoma and Napa Valley and go a little further north to see the tall redwoods forest.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
This stay was rather pricey.
This stay was rather pricey. Although clean and generally acceptable, there was only a very basic room/facilities. On the positive side, breakfast was nice with many options. Restaurant next door, Perry's, was really fun and we went twice.Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 10.0

An interesting downtown area. Met some very nice and helpful folks. Was disappointed that the American Indian Museum was closed but no advance notice of same. That was my primary reason for visiting the town. Apparently they are remodeling. I found the Novato Historical Museum instead. Talked with several helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staffers. Two ladies recommended a good place for dinner, Grazies, which was very good. A “happening” downtown on Saturday night.
