This is one of the most value for money hotels that we have stayed at. The location is just perfect close to Disney attractions and free shuttles are provided. There’s a market in case you need to purchase something. The whole day there is coffee and tea offered free of charge. Additionally, there is free breakfast and even a meal during the afternoon time. Cleanliness is on a high level and the staff is very friendly. The room is spacious with all the conveniences and amenities provided, whereas the beds are huge and very comfortable.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (especially Tina who went out of her way every time to ensure a wonderful stay)! The room was immaculate and comfy! The hotel is conveniently located about a 5 min drive to Universal (or 15 min walk), and close to everything else you need.

    We stayed in Orlando for two weeks this year, and one week last year. We visited a total of 12 different parks (all the Disney parks, Universal, SeaWorld, ICON Park, and Aquatica). This really is the world capital of theme parks! Orlando also has great food, shopping, and of course, amazing theme parks. You’ll need a vehicle to get around—everything is just a few minutes’ drive, but not really walkable

    The Disney parks were great, but some of the rides are a bit old as we have been coming to Orlando for some years now and have seen them all.The new park at Universal was a bit of a let down ,we had to be in line for over 2 hours for a basic 2 minutes ride which was a copy of the one in Universal LA.some of the rides were broken down, for people in their 70's the stairs were abit of a trial.The food restaurants in Universal Epic were very good, Disney should improve theirs to the Epic standard.

    We had a hire car as we always do as public transport is not as widely available in Orlando as in other cities. Uber and Lift are easily available but we prefer to have our own car for ease of use. The cost of car hire has fallen so it is not as expensive as it was just after covid. We did find that the cost of food in the supermarkets and restaurants has risen since our last visit, quite substantially in some places. There do not seem to be the buffet style eateries which were always such good value for a quick stop meal, I’m guessing most have now closed down which is sad. Anyone planning a theme park trip will already know the tickets aren’t cheap! However there are good combinations to be had and strangely it seems the longer you buy tickets for the better value they are, even if it means you don’t use every day up. Food and drink in the parks is expensive but water stations are freely available to refill bottles.

    My daughter and I love Orlando.

    My daughter and I love Orlando. There is so much to do and they have great weather most of the year. Disney is a big deal for us so we go as often as possible. There are tons of restaurants and something for everybody.

    We usually stay near Disney Springs whenever we are traveling from one end of the state to the other. So many good hotels and restaurants makes it a great break, even if we aren’t traveling to Orlando as a destination on its own.

    I always love to visit Orlando and have been multiple times!! This particular visit was a bucket list vacation gift from my dad for our family. We visited Disney World & Universal Studios for a week. The new EPIC park at Universal Studios is a smaller park, but a definite & exciting must see. It was easy to get around Orlando, however, there are lots of toll roads and traffic peak times vary. The rainy weather can put a damper on certain outdoor activities and rides at the theme parks but there are always lots of indoor activities until the rain subsides. There's lots of local shopping, restaurants, souvenir shops and site seeing to do. Along International Drive, near the convention center, there are lots of places to visit like ICON Park for The Wheel, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the SEA LIFE Aquarium, Topgolf, WonderWorks and Ripley's Believe It or Not! Cocoa Beach and other beaches are not too far off the beaten path. There's fun for every age. I will warn you to check with the visitor's center to ask when the European crowd will be in Orlando. Their school breaks are very different than our typical American summer and holiday breaks; and their presence can affect crowd sizes and wait times. Orlando is packed with fun and adventure for families, couples or solo travelers. So plan a trip and have fun! Signed, The Texas Traveler
