Very clean 2-year-old property. Large room with a kitchen, fridge, cook top and microwave. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast for us was coffee, a granola bar, and a chocolate muffin. The room was accessible by lift, and the carpark was large. It was very good value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

Ormond Beach is lovely.

Ormond Beach is lovely. My stay at the Driftwood Hotel not so lovely. #1 the pool was under construction so NO SWIMMING.(It would have been nice to know this b4 I booked my reservation.) Grounds at Hotel were unsightly, dirty. Nightly rates were way too much $$$ for the old and dated condition of this "resort.".

Ormond beach is a very nice City and the beach here is pretty. I do like the hotel alone the beach which give you the opportunity to have an oceanfront room to look out at the ocean in the day time and listen to it at night.

The room we stayed in was the king suite.

The room we stayed in was the king suite. The room had peeling paint on the ceiling over the bed, the sheets were ripped and there was no furniture in the room other than two beds and two night tables. Small kitchenette had an induction cooktop that was not plugged in and had no cookware. There was no coffee maker, and no chairs or table to eat at. The smoke detector was hanging open and not functioning. The door was hard to open and close. There was no after hour contact information in the room. I found a number on the door of the lobby, but no one answered. The Wifi was down. There were signs stating they were renovating but the manager told me they just hadn't updated the pictures. No evidence of renovations. Oh and there was a hole near the door, close to the floor, from an old A/C unit that was covered with loose cardboard and tape. Easy access for entry.

We had spend many winters as snowbirds in Daytona Beach and were very much familiar with Ormond Beach and when we wanted to return for a short visit we looked specifically for places in Ormond because we liked that community and the beach very much.

Ormond Beach is a nice town, and the beach area has several...

Ormond Beach is a nice town, and the beach area has several good hotels. I would like to see more restaurants on the beach, and a beachside bar would be nice. I like to visit the Humane Society thrift store each time I'm in town, and Dunn's Attic is a good store to browse. Andy Romano park allows beach access to all, and kids like the splash pad. Shout-out to the Starbucks people who were friendly and helpful. Be prepared to deal with traffic on Granada. I'm not a fan of vehicles on the beach, either. I think beaches should be for people and birds and not motorized metal. I like a quiet vacation for reading, walking, and watching the waves.

Room was disgusting and locks on door did not work.rustylightlamp. Rusty bathroom tissue holder.dog chew marks on the doors floors we also dirty. This place needs to be inspected by the board of health.

Excellent week at the beach! We arrived to friendly and professional Britney and Andrew at front desk. All the staff made us feel welcome. The entire hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The pool was the perfect temperature. The spa was comfy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was lovely. We will stay again and recommend to friends and family.

The Location was great, on the beach. The Hotel unfortunately is undergoing much repair which was required from Hurricane damage. Upon completion, I am sure it will be a great Hotel again. Our particular room was hugh and very clean.

My partner and I liked the fact that Coral Sands is out of the busyness of Daytona, with access to the beach, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Daytona. We also loved the 'old Florida feel' of Coral Sands.
