At least 2 Towels were not clean. Mattress & pillows were worn out. Mushy room smell. Complained to front desk at around 11:15 ish pm about loud noise in the parking space in front of our door. She asked if it was white van, I said yes. She said she take of it, she not only did not take but 2 more vans came in. Noise continue way after 1am. We had to be up but 5 am so very little sleep. Staff was busy and on autopilot. Pet friendly $30 Room was nice. Comfy bed. Bathroom needed updating. Shower curtain smelled musty. Excellent restaurant on site. Santee is lovely - Quality Inn was terrible. From outside parking lot the building edifice is dirty/grungy and unwelcoming. NO signage to tell arrivals where office is. Office is dirty from outside, windows all smudged very unwelcoming. Santee is a stopping point for us when we are traveling.
Santee is a stopping point for us when we are traveling. It has a great Pro shop and a really good Mexican Restaurant. I know that they have at least one golf course, but have never played it. Santee as a whole looks like a nice little town.Guest review bySylviaUnited States - 2.0
They discriminated against my service animal and the...
They discriminated against my service animal and the overnight desk lady is unprofessional and very unaware of such esa/service animals. They made me keep my service animal in the car or cancel my (non-refundable) room. The manager was understanding when I called but everyone who has service animals or esa for ptsd BE AWARE, because they will discriminate and take away your animals rights. Quick, convenient and very polite and helpful staff. The room with parking right out front was great. The room itself wasn't as clean as we'd like but as clean as we expected for an off the interstate hotel. It was just the right balance of cost=expectation.
