We found this property whilst looking for a quick road trip stay-over, my wife did not want to leave! The hotel and all facilities are excellent and were above and beyond our expectations. Spotlessly clean and modern with huge rooms and the most comfortable beds. The staff are amazing and friendly. We had an evening meal at the on-site restaurant which was an experience that was beyond anything that we expected. The home cooked buffet was the best we have ever had anywhere, and let me add we are well travelled and have experienced buffets all over the world. Our lovely waitress was a delight and even though she was well beyond a retirement age she clearly loved her job, she told us she had been there since it opened in 1999. Would highly recommend this place. Free breakfast, afternoon cookies and coffee were another frat bonus.

The whole atmosphere of the place was great! The garden, the hammocks, the pool area. The room and bathroom were also great, just like the terrace, which was open, yet private. Kids really enjoyed hanging out in the hammocks.

    Sarasota is a very modern, clean, contemporary city.

    Sarasota is a very modern, clean, contemporary city. It has a wonderful waterfront and many parks. The waterfront is very walkable with much to see as far as unique architecture, beautiful water views on the bays and many fantastic high rise high rise buildings to admire. It has some of the best beaches in FL. The city is very easy to get around, ride shares are easy to get. There are many great restaurants with many choices. The city has many cultural and educational benefits: many colleges, a symphony, a ballet troupe, and 4 theaters with unique current plays. The Ringling Museum is a must to see, there are a number of first class performance halls, a zoo, an aquarium, a modern art museum, botanic garden, zoo, great shopping, etc., etc. You will really like Sarasota, it has something for everyone: adults, children, people that love beaches, boats, the sun, culture, good food, etc. We stayed one week and we really needed 2 to do all of the great attractions.

    Yes, I'm going to have the steak. How about that? Check out all the rooms make sure all the rooms are free. I think that makes including t cockroaches. I took three cock. Cockroach is strong on my day while I was sleeping that night. Didn't want to help me do anything to deal with it.

    We enjoyed taking a boat in peace river, going to the Mote a great day seeing the aquarium’s, birds, otters, manatees. There is plenty of shops if you need to cool down and treat yourself, and of course you are only 20 to 30 minutes away from so many beaches.

    We didn't get to visit much of Sarasota because the weather was so cold and rainy while we were there. We were there to mainly relax and enjoy the home we rented, so except for not being able to use the pool and hot tub as much as we wanted due to the weather, it was a good place to visit. Siesta Key Beach is beautiful and awesome.

    We have many good memories of Sarasota and Siesta Key. There are great restaurants there, our favorite is Beckhams, located at Vamos and 41. If you choose Chinese, order to go from Taste of Hong Kong, will have you sit at a table for 90 minutes while they fill pick up orders! Philippi Creek, on 41 is very good.

    Nice town with lots of money to fix storm damage. Our family moved there in 1969 so we've seen lots of changes. Bayfront is beginning to look like lower Manhattan with all the high-rises, but still a lot of nice old neighborhoods to walk and bike. I have family there so we visit but wouldn't want to live there because of the traffic. Regrettably, my current residence in coastal NC is going the same way.

    Breakfast was adequate no frills but delicious. The location is perfect everything is around 20 mins away so very central. The staff were so friendly and kind nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was lovely clean with plenty of sun loungers and towels available. The hotel is wonderful the rooms are very spacious clean and comfortable and the hallways are splendid so wide and luxurious.

    We arrived early hours of the morning, lights had been left on for us and cold water bottles in the fridge. AC was set at 70 and it was very comfortable. It is basic but the location, pool area, on site laundry, ease of access meant it really was excellent value for money. Ritas, 7/11, cvs, chinese all in walking distance.

    Great location for Sarasota down town . Staff could not do more to assist with our stay. John the hotel shuttle bus driver made getting around easy and did a great job taking and collecting us from the beach . Great roof top bar and pool facility . Would certainly stay there again .

    I loved this hotel. It had everything I needed. I even had a sign that if I needed an electric cooker, they would provide it. Everything was spotless. The staff was great. We loved the grill area! I loved this hotel so much.
