A very warm welcome on Arrival by Timme (apologies if that’s spelt wrong). She was fantastic and genuinely put a smile on my face. We have been travelling for a while across the states and this has been by far the best place we have stayed. Staff were all so lovely. Room was so clean, modern and spacious. Loved the Dove soaps within the bathroom. Pool was lovely. Breakfast was great. Can’t fault this place. Would 100% come again and will recommend.

Excellent choice for families: the two-room suite includes 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen, so it would also be suitable with an infant. We appreciated the spaciousness and the comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was nice as well, but we would have expected more healthy options. The pool is great - our kids loved the many toys.

    we love the gambling.

    we love the gambling. I’m just playing penny slots was absolutely wonderful. We ended up moving up to quarter slots but we had so much fun and we only took like $300 and still came home with money. We were there for three days would love to go and say at least five days The staff is absolutely exceptionally trained motivated well deserving we love keep going if you want cleaning us great hospitality wonderful rooms you have got to go to Bally’s in Shreveport.

    There's not a lot to do in Shreveport in mid-March except...

    There's not a lot to do in Shreveport in mid-March except gamble in the casinos and eat at some good restaurants. They do have some nice parks, an aquarium, and the SciPort science museum with an IMAX theater.

    We got to the hotel at 1130.

    We got to the hotel at 1130. The bank approved the reservation, but thought the charge out of state,because it bills as Dallas/Shreveport, was fraudulent. By time we got that taken care of it was past 2am. We hotel hopped for a week between Wingate and comped rooms at El Dorado, now Bally's casino. Great facilities and staff. Would of liked to get a weekly rate, but we didn't prepare well.

    I liked my view from the window and that the bathroom had a separate walk in shower and a huge garden tub. But we could’ve used more covers and a softer mattress with less noise from the neighbors slamming their doors and I wish that some of the rooms offered microwaves in them so I didn’t have to go downstairs and hand my food to a stranger to warm it.

    Shreveport was less than impressive.

    Shreveport was less than impressive. Dirty and not very family oriented. I am sure the people that live there know the better places to go and things to do other than casinos but they really fall short on informing visitors.

    Enjoyed the visit,but they need to work on getting retail...

    Enjoyed the visit,but they need to work on getting retail stores in the boardwalk river front. About 85% empty since the panicdemic and not returned. We ate at the Saltgrass and it was very good with friendly staff. Also there are no buffets at any of the casinos, but the restaurant is very good and affordable. Still plenty of sportsbars and clubs trying to come back for nightlife entertainment. If you like antique or thrift stores, there are plenty within 5-10 miles from casinos. Be sure to use your GPS and there won't be a problem getting around town. So sad, it has great tourist potential for revenue and tax base. Oh yeah, beware of the $15 a day resort fees, not sure how they justify them. Didn't receive anything special from regular hotels that you have to pay or feel obligated to tip.

    The staff were amazing. The room was big and well laid out. It was a great shame, though, that the room smelled musty and it was very outdated. For example, the lamp on the desk was rusty. There were rust stains around the toilet too. Other than that, the room was clean, and I enjoyed my stay.
