Friendly and quiet place to stay. Have wonderful view of Manhattan and Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. Breakfast provides fruits, coffee, yogurt, muffin, bread, cheese, etc. I didn't expect this quality for American B&B! Well maintained clean room and shared bathroom. Coffee, tea, is free for all customer. 10min walk to Clifton MTA station to St. George Ferry terminal. If used train, it will give you one free subway ride in Manhattan. Good American home-stay experience, and if you like quiet place to stay away from city, I'd highly recommend.

The front desk staff was amazing! I didn't ask for names but especially the receptionist that was working at night (male) was just the nicest! The hotel lobby and bar area are very pleasant and well decorated. The rooms are very clean, spacious and overall just have everything you may need!

This is a wonderful Hotel and friendly.

This is a wonderful Hotel and friendly. Unfortunately as a regular returning customer experiencing my recent stay under new management was somewhat disappointing because l should have been compensated on not paying the extra money for checkout. Staff members were extremely nice .

Not as much to do as other boroughs on NY.

Not as much to do as other boroughs on NY. Maybe spend more time on Mahhatten and skip Staten Island. Free ferry but bit of a hassle turns lunch into an all day affair by the time you get there and back

was there for a family event. Staten Island is a convienent and more economical location when visiting NYC. Can easily visit the city from Staten Island by ferry. there are rental cars on premise where the hotels are on South Avenue if needed

Before ( decades ago) was known as park borough now is traffic bridge to bridge for 40 min, rude drivers and a lot of illegal immigrants . Plus very limited amount of decent place to stay or diner . Yeak.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place!!

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place!! Everything else about Staten Island was great. Parking sucks, I had to park a block away, the owners are rude and loud. The only privacy is if you stay in your room. I'm very disappointed.

Staten Island is so different from mainland New York.

Staten Island is so different from mainland New York. Although, or perhaps because of, primarily a domestic residential area, many open spaces and some interesting historical sites. I understand there are lots of wild deer on the island, although we did not see any. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the one shopping mall I visited. The only downside is the cost o crossing those bridges - up to $17 at peak times.

Nothing. The staff is asleep when we check in in the evening, they perceive questions as requests, first they say that booking is to blame, and then they say that it was their employee who made a mistake, they stole things, stole all the food from the room, we did not check out, we had the keys to the room, the dates in booking were fully paid, they did not apologize, did not compensate for the food, did not offer to stay, they wrote off the full cost of accommodation. I contacted the bank with help. This is not a hotel, this is garbage.

This hotel has a great view of the Manhattan skyline. It was wonderful to catch the (free) Staten Island ferry to Manhattan each day. We had a big bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. The host was very friendly but discrete, giving out useful information.

Danuta was a warm and knowledgeable host. She welcomed me into her home and made us feel as though it was my own. She prepared a wonderful breakfast and told great stories of Staten Island and her time on the island. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
