The entire stay was exceptional. The room was perfect for our needs, the breakfast exceeded my expectations and was full of delicious choices, and the snack shop was a nice plus that was exactly what we needed for the late-night chat we encountered with the family that was unexpectedly at the same location.

As usual as I have stayed here many times .... the room was clean, but it is an old hotel/motel so old carpets/ stucco walls and that dreaded grannie comforter.... with all that said the staff is friendly, love the early check in , layout is great

This place was so good to us. It was our last minute getaway for our 20th anniversary. We were so happy to even find a place, but the staff went above and beyond and put us in a room with water view. My wife was so happy and you made our weekend so special. Thank you so much. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was awesome. Staff was so nice. Definitely will stay again and tell others about it. It is a nice walk to the shops and restaurants.

    Superior is quite a nice city.

    Superior is quite a nice city. The areas we saw were clean and tidy. It provided us with all the amenities we were looking for. Julie's Family Restaurant was a particularly good place to eat. We were very pleased with the Richard I Bong veteran's museum and the young lady (a junior in high school) who provided the "Heavy Metal" tour. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. There is much to see and do around the area, including Bayfield, the Apostle Islands and Ashland, all within about an hour's drive from Superior.

    We stayed at the Cobblestone Superior and it was a great...

    We stayed at the Cobblestone Superior and it was a great choice! The king suite had a full kitchen, which would be great for a longer stay or families looking to save some money by eating in. It was also a really quiet room; in the living room, I could not even hear the TV that was on in the bedroom. We got room service from the Wissota Chophouse and it was AMAZING! Their menu is really interesting, with some eclectic options; fantastic beer and cocktail options as well! The area is improving, I had read there were a lot of vacant shops, but we found a nice coffee shop and some cute boutique shops near the hotel. The Pride parade went right by the hotel, which was awesome! There are a lot of parks nearby so a lot of green area to explore; and Duluth is just a short drive away! If you wanted a fast food option, that was nearby as well.

    Found several great restaurants including Superior...

    Found several great restaurants including Superior Restaurant and Anchor Bar. Enjoyed going to Wisconsin Point and walking the beach. People were very friendly and helpful. Getting around is very easy as it’s on a grid system!

    Love the area - but, the Superior Super 8 was the worst...

    Love the area - but, the Superior Super 8 was the worst Super 8 hotel we have experienced. The room was clean, but the third degree and my wife also having to come in and sign the form was a pain - the breakfast was the same as nothing.

    Very nice town, just across the bridge from all Duluth has to offer! Nice to stay in Superior to save a little money and drive the short distance to Duluth. Superior has some nice restaurants and places to check out as well!

    The hotel was right next to a mobile home park but still was clean and nice staff. The rooms were clean. We ate at "Grizzlys" not good service and not good food. Overrated. So maybe find a better choice in food.

    It was a short distance from the Superior Inn to Barkers Island. Check out at noon!! Even thought we checked out at 10. The piece of mind that we had time. Got up early do our first Dragon boat race return and had time enjoyed the breakfast and gather our things. Very relaxing!!
