Room, services and location everything was perfect. We stayed for two nights in Truckee to discover the area around Lake Tahoe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We used also in the morning the “Dryland (sport area)” to do some exercises and in the evening after hiking also the sauna and hot tub. The best thing was the good air, as Gravity Haus Truckee is located in nature. We can definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and refreshing environment. The hot tub was a fantastic addition, offering us a relaxing evening. The staff members were helpful & friendly. Lastly, the breakfast provided offered more than what we expected. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay with good amenities.

This hotel was exactly what we needed after Burning Man! The location was perfect—easy to find right off the highway. Our room was cozy, spotless, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. We really appreciated the laundry service, which was a lifesaver for starting to wash off all the desert dust. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and satisfying, and the outdoor pool felt incredible after a week in the desert. We also loved that late check-out was available for just $20 per hour, per room—such a great option!

    Reservation canceled after they charged my card and confirmed the booking. Blamed it on booking app glitch. Absolutely BS! Refused to assist me in alternate accommodations. Booking.com and/or Inn At Truckee both have not responded to my complaint nor refunded my credit card to date. Unacceptable!

    Lots of shopping and eating establishments.

    Lots of shopping and eating establishments. Great burgers at Burger Me! Enjoyed visit to Donner Lake Memorial State Park. Merchants selling winter wear in late April charging crazy amount of $ for snow gloves & boots so come prepared.

    We stayed in Northstar Village south of truckee we found the town of truckee just delightful and charming, full of good restaurants. Very bustling during the day. And the natural food store New moon was superb!

    The city of Truckee is very charming.

    The city of Truckee is very charming. You have the old Truckee down town, with restaurants, museums and all kinds of store to buy souvenirs and merchandise. Then you have the new Truckee down town that have grocery stores, banks, pet hospitals and more restaurants. The bike path along the river is vantastic, you can ride a long distance or short distance. Beautiful pine trees with the river running thru it. Alpine bliss.

    We loved Truckee much more than the busy areas around Lake...

    We loved Truckee much more than the busy areas around Lake Tahoe. Truckee is a charming little village. We had really good brunch in town followed by quite an amazing hike around the Donner Summit and the Mount Judah Loop trail. Absolutely loved the Donner lake and all the little rivers and mountains around town.

    If you want to get away from the city, but you aren't sure...

    If you want to get away from the city, but you aren't sure you want the touristy crowds of Lake Tahoe, then come to Truckee and Donner Lake. A great downtown area with restaurants and shops, but not overdone. Endless hiking trails and running streams/rivers everywhere (this was early June). I will be headed back to Truckee every year to breathe and relax and watch both the sunsets and the stars.
