Vance is nice.
Vance is nice. The manufacturing plant is the big feature, but there are a lot of nice restaurants and things to do indoors and outdoors. I went through in late autumn and found it very pleasant. The surface roads are pretty good and signage makes it easy to navigate without a gps or nav screen. I stayed at the Greystone, which is a nice out of the way hotel at a fair price. But it was a short trip to restaurants and the Mercedes plant.Guest review byAndrewUnited States

Big and broad selection of cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee including decaf, tea, and some other things. It's easy to find the room just off the lobby and there's plenty of seating. Beds are comfy and the place is quiet, out of the way, and still convenient to Tuscaloosa and the Interstate. Staff are very nice. The owners provide free water and snacks in the room and drinks in a fridge by the desk, which is appreciated because a lot of hotels try and nickel and dime for everything nowadays.Guest review byAndrewUnited States

Close to Tuscaloosa with an Alabama football game the next day, they were offering special drinks. The front desk staff were willing to go above and beyond to accommodate a request. The facilities were clean and acceptable. The breakfast was ok with enough variety to get us going on our way. The area was peaceful and quiet with a diner located a few miles down the road.
