The pool, the garden, the lovely evening lights. the beautiful cooked fresh food, the garden butterflies all added to the restful experience at Cat Bà Papillon. The staff were helpful in organising collection from any point on the Island and organising onward transfer to Hanoi. As a solo traveller, I felt safe comfortable and looked after very well. Excellent value for 1 person and even better value for 2 persons. Lovely stay and lovely people

I've been here and there, but in Rustic Cat Ba I felt like home. It's a small, family business. Lin runs it with her parents and husband and they were so friendly and helpful. That was the best place I ever stayed at. Thanks to Lin and her family 😃

For the second time, we have taken "a moment to breathe" at Paradise Suites. Travelling is hard work and when you're meant to be on holidays and resting, Ha Long is a great place to just stop for a minute. This hotel is not in Ha Long City, it is on the harbour from where the cruises leave. It is exquisitely appointed and offers a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Breakfasts are included in your booking and are a full buffet, with a chef cooking eggs made to order. When you're ready, one of the staff will drive you down to the private infinity pool and private beach, where again chilled drinks and nibbles will be delivered to you. There are very few people staying on this island area and so there is no noise, no rush, no one trying to sell to you, just peace and quiet. The beds are exceptional and the rooms are beautiful with fantastic lighting for all your needs (reading lights and ambient). The staff are wonderful, reception communicate quickly, Phương (F&B coordinator) and the restaurant staff can truly not do enough for you. Take a moment, you won't beat this place.

Went with a friend and we truly had a blast. The crew were extremely attentive and friendly and our cruise manager Harry took care of all our needs and questions. He and the crew also had great relationships with the people at the excursions so we also got to skip lines and see much more. Our bartender Boo was the BEST!! Such a sweet person who came up with different drinks and did his best to be hospitable. Harry is also a talented singer, musician and magician so you’re never lacking for entertainment! Food is also great, and they accommodate vegetarians. Their jacuzzi and balcony are top notch.

We stayed here the night before our Ha Long Bay Cruise and it was the best thing we have done! Immaculate and brand new furnishings and facilities. Our room overlooked Ha Long Bay which was mesmerising! Breakfast was delicious and an asset to staying here. The location was awesome! A few small restaurants were open at night (even in non-peak season) and served us great food. We would recommend to everyone to stay here!
