    Beautiful old town.

Beautiful old town. Would recommend a visit to Poison which does tasty iced coffee and good food. Hoi An roastery coffee is also a good stop for coffee. Faifo coffee is also lovely, go upstairs to get great rooftops views over the old town. Have a wander and bargain at the night market always good fun. There are so many bars and restaurants to choose from but the best thing is coffee.

    Loved Hoi An.

Loved Hoi An. Restaurants were great and there was a lot of shopping. We loved eating at Mirning Glory. The food was exceptional and the view over the river was beautiful at night with all the lanterns out up.

If you want a truly immersive Vietnamese experience without big city noise you should visit Hoi An. It’s a cozy little town, the ancient town at night with the river lined up with lantern boats, silk and leather shops, wonderful tailors shops, small temples, people enjoying Bai Choi game and singing, the basket boats, the lovely rice fields…..it was truly local and beautiful.

Simple quaint town with easy food and transport.

Simple quaint town with easy food and transport. Food was awesome and plenty to choose from. About 2 night's stay is sufficient leaving days to spend elsewhere in the area. Souvenir and craft shops looked really good, be prepared to bargain a little but most owners are not overly aggressive. Nice views by the river for sunsets. Sunrise is early at 5.30am and jogging around to explore is possible and fairly safe too.

The Ancient Town is still great for a day or (maximum) two, but the whole place has become over commercialized. If I were to return, I'd probably stay near An Bang (quieterz has better and cheaper food, proximity to an o-kay beach) as it is easy to get a Grab and commute back and forth.

Breakfast is exceptional - largest selection we've seen in Vietnam, catering for all tastes. We loved sitting outside, enjoying our meals just across the road from the river. Free lantern boat ride. Spacious, comfortable room (ours with a balcony). A comfortable walk along the river to the night markets, old town; or a Grab that cost us AUD$3 & less if we chose to ride Staff were amazing, became like family in the week we were there - benefits of a boutique or small hotel. We loved our stay & would choose to stay again.

Very nice place, we came to this villa with arranged transport from danang hotel at very cheap prices for a huge group. The lady helped us book our tour and transport with Nong Thon Travel to enjoy coconut forest boat ride at reasonable prices and transport to Hoi An old town. The lady also helped us to book our lunch from the nearest and popular banh my restaurant. She also prepared our breakfast - bun Cha with coffee. Love the pool - the common area is so spacious and friendly for family to hang out all night.

This hotel was definitely luxury, out in the countryside but close enough to old town. The pool area was great for lounging and the spa was amazing with a free sauna which we used lots. Rooms nice and big, really nice interiors and surrounded by palm trees. Super quiet. Staff were very lovely and breakfast was really good compared to other breakfasts we’ve had in our month in Vietnam. There’s also a pool table in the outside bar area which we enjoyed using!

The rooms were beautiful and it was in a great location - only 10 mins from the old town or the beach but in a more quiet area with a lovely cafe next door. The staff were amazing, especially Lily who was so welcoming and helpful. When I left, she even waved me goodbye from the door of the hotel, that’s how friendly the service was! I will definitely come back, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and when factoring in the price, it’s 10/10.

The staff were exceptional. We stayed at a mix of hotels during our stay in Vietnam + this was our absolute favourite. Morning beach walks, ocean swims fresh coconuts + fruit platters + and quick walk to a great yoga studio…then lunch in old town. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
