From the check in to the support for renting a scooter and Tipps for local restaurants during off-season. This hotel is worth every of the few pennies it cost us. Room was exactly like on the pictures, well maintained. Bed on the hard side, but not to hard and the lining was really cozy. All the staff are really friendly, always have an open ear or recommendation, but never to pushy. We felt so comfortable like nowhere else the last 5 month in Asia. Really quiet street at night as well.

Everything was excellent. Whenever we had any problem they solved it as fast as possible. The rooms are very nice and spacious with sea views. The wifi worked perfectly. They kindly picked us up from the cruise terminal, offered us great laundry service and also book a fantastic day tour for us. The breakfast was fantastic, the last day they prepared a traditional dish for us. It is a family business run by wonderful caring people ❤️

Great value for money. Very upscale amenities and courteous staff. We specifically chose this hotel so we could treat ourselves to something upscale to relax in after a few adventures. The location is not in the center, but with a taxi you can be anywhere in minutes.

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help. We had a wonderful experience upon arriving at the Ha Long Essence Classic Hotel. The warm welcome we received from the reception staff made us feel right at home. One gentleman in particular was exceptionally kind—he took the time to explain everything in detail and even upgraded our room free of charge. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Before our arrival, I had been in contact with the hotel's support assistant via WhatsApp, and he was incredibly helpful—one of the best I’ve encountered in all my travels. He assisted us in booking the Rosy Cruise and arranged a limousine transfer back to Hanoi at a very reasonable price. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was well-appointed and met all our needs. We were also offered a generous 50% discount on breakfast, which turned out to be very much worth it. If you’re planning a trip to Ha Long Bay, I highly recommend the Ha Long Essence Classic Hotel. It’s a peaceful place that gave us a truly restful and relaxing experience.
