We stayed at Apricot room and just everything was perfect! Very clean and big room as it was shown on the pictures. Nicely decorated and with really everything equipped you need for your stay. Bath amenities, bathrobe, slippers etc. - like in 5 Star hotel. The beds are comfortable and equipped with heating blankets for cold nights. The location is quiet and it takes only a few minutes by car to go for a good restaurant to have a nice and delicious dinner. We both felt like at home at de Witte Huis and the host Zandra & her husband cared so much for us. Specially to mention is the breakfast. Zandra prepares the hot dish (any type of eggs) by herself with lots of love and you can tell at what time you like to have it. We both are from Switzerland and have spent many holidays in South Africa. The De Witte Huis is absolutely the best B&B we ever have been. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights, but we will come again. (I did not write in German as I’m not sure if the translation to English would express the same good impression)

    Bethlehem is a small town.

    Bethlehem is a small town. It is not far from CLARENS and GOLDEN GATE. You can drive to these two places in less than an our. We spent the whole day in CLARENS and bought some few items. We had our lunch there and walked around without fear of being mugged. There is a very good security; there was a security company patrolling around.

    I was received with a very warm welcome, everything exceeded my expectation considering that the property was the cheapest in bethlehem. I will definitely be a return customer as it fantastic value for money. The staff ensured everything was to my satisfaction, the room was tidy and spacious. Very comfortable rest I had.     The room was more spacious than I had expected, more than what I expected to get given the money I paid for it. I also liked the fact that they went out of their way to accommodate me and allowed me to check in early and get dressed in the room as I was in Bethlehem for a wedding. The place was very quiet and safe. Overall I am satisfied.
