It was a perfect rural setting. Definitely away from the city! Maryke, the host, is very hands on, very accommodating. The coffee shop near by is excellent for breakfast and lunch.

Gosh the view. The sunrise over the mountain and the hikes and swims in the pristine rivers. It was exquisite. The peace and quiet, an excellent place to be in touch with your inner stillness again.

I've been to quite a few self catering places this year and nothing compares to River Edge. The finer details, like arriving and the hot tub is already warm, welcome gin and tonic with a lemon, enough towels for bathing and swimming. Air fryer. Fire lighters, filter coffee.... to name a few It was the best office to work at during our mid week stay. Will recommend to families and couples

Amazing view across the valley and wonderfully appointed property with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Communications were good and we really enjoyed the large lasagne and salad we had asked for on our arrival. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning at the restaurant across the road.

Fantastic views of the mountains and surrounded with Fynbos. It exceeded our expectations. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and more. We will definitely be back.
