I had a few interactions with Estelle, the owner via bookings.com as I had a few things I needed clarity on about the area etc. She was really helpful and replied timeously. Upon arrival we were met by Lindie who manages the property and she was also absolutely amazing, so helpful and accomodating. Nothing was too much for her at any time of the day. With Laingsburg being such a small town with not much to do, being there literally felt as though we were in a resort, so peaceful, neat, clean and very maintained. We stayed over to break our trip to CT and back to JHB and we will definitely be doing that again at Swallows Nest. Such value for money and exceeded our expectations! What is not to like.In nature, fresh air, no reception.Fresh milk(from the cow!) and beautiful birds. Lovely resident dogs that came for a play date and stayed for the entire afternoon.Peppa and I loved every minute in this haven.

The isolation of the place was exactly what I wanted. Jana checked in with me constantly without being in our space. The welcoming sherry, bread and cheese was a classy touch. The accommodation provided for all our needs.

Lovely welcome by the two owners, Andy and Penny and their staff. Andrea showed us through the vineyard to our cottage. We were overwhelmed by the nice cottage, the plunge pool, together with the stunning surroundings. Penny had meticulously picked out the dinner menus for the two nights we stayed, and the wines from their proper production were top-notch. We can warmly recommend Mymering to friends and family!
