What a tastefully decorated guest house with exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. We watched whales from our breakfast table, could safely walk to the beautiful beaches, enjoyed delicious meals in town, as well as great wine experiences a few km’s away - and the suggested taxi service was safe and friendly.

The hotel is beautifully designed. Elegant yet comfortable/cozy. The staff was attentive, friendly and so helpful. The location is perfect. I enjoyed being a bit further out of town and the immediate access to the cliff trail. Breakfast in the terrace was the perfection. My massage was also a delightful experience.

We had a room with the view of the sea it was breath taking and i would so recommend getting the view you could sit and watch the sea all day. The breakfast was also such a big selection and really amazing. another thing to mention was the beds were very comfy.

Wonderful & spotless hotel where any guest is truly invited to relax. Gorgeous rooms with panoramic views to the ocean, well equipped from the whirlpool in the rooms, to the little biscuits and chocolats available, to the options to watch Netflix directly setup. The team running the hotel is beyond fantastic - special mention to Dean who has truly made our stay special with his impeccable service, positive attitude & attention to detail (we got our own private dinner on the balcony!). Highly recommended hotel.

    A beautiful town on the coast 100km from Cape Town. There are lots of activities to enjoy - whales, walks, wine tasting and excellent restaurants. A boat trip into Walker Bay is definitely worthwhile.

    Hermanus & Vermont has everything to make a good holiday! "41 0n Siffie" had a lot of surprises in the kitchen - for example a microwave, a braai, hot pot and many other things that I wasn't expecting!

    Great place and saw whales, great eating places, shops etc. Lovely views and safe beachfront walks. Lots of places nearby like Stanford and many excellent wine farms in the Hemel and Aarde Valley road.

    The establishment is very serene, well looked after and it has all the amenities not to mention an exceptional view of the ocean. Most importantly, it’s managed and owned by the warmest hosts and it offers the most wholesome breakfast! We will definitely be going back!

    Hermanus is a pretty town with some lovely shops, art galleries and restaurants. I really enjoyed the coastal path to walk along to enjoy views of the sea, and hopefully spot some whales. We went on a great boat ride to see the whales a bit closer.

    So many amenities within a short distance from the...

    So many amenities within a short distance from the accommodation and we were lucky to see whales on each of the four days that we were there. The town and area was very clean and easy to get around. We hope to visit there again soon.

    if you go to Hermanus. you have to stay here! An incredibly warm welcome, with amazing hosts who have a vast amount of local knowledge and they were so kind. The location was wonderful right near the cliff path. Room was spotless and beautiful, the breakfast was outstanding and better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! we had a wonderful time.
