We stayed 4 nights and everything about the stay was an absolute dream, only made possible by the team at Ivory Wilderness. Each excursion felt unique and Shane and Warren are clearly so passionate and knowledgeable, making every sighting big or small an incredible experience. The location on the river is beautiful and very peaceful and meals were varied and delicious.

Africa on Foot is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The rustic-style camp features thatched chalet accommodation, a bar and a viewing deck with splash pool and sun loungers.

Fantastic location, beautiful small scale lodge with ultra pleasant and friendly staff. The activities were fantastic, especially the morning game walks. Being escorted by two very knowledgeable Rangers, we felt safe in the bush and immensely enjoyed the walks and all that we saw and learned these days.

An absolutely stunning lodge — beautifully designed with elegant suites and tasteful African-inspired art throughout. Our game drives with Julian were the highlight: he was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories about wildlife and South Africa itself. Food and service were truly world-class, with a great selection of wines to choose from.

Everything was perfect and high quality. Accommodation was very nice and comfortable, bed was amazing. Staff were very very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing and they really go out of their way to make the experience unforgettable. We had lunch and dinners in various settings. The gym is small but well equipped. Massages were amazing and the game drives were fun and comfy.

Our stay at the beautiful Last Word Kitara was truly special. The lodge is set in a peaceful, breathtaking environment where you can completely immerse yourself in nature. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean, and come with a beautiful balcony — the ideal spot to unwind between game drives. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, and the attention to detail was impressive — the table was always beautifully set, with a different and thoughtful arrangement each time, which made every dining experience feel unique and personal. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always helpful. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and their warmth added so much to our overall experience. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing guide Matt and tracker Patrick. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five all in one day, which was truly unforgettable. What really stood out was Matt’s genuine passion for animals — whether it was birds or big cats, his enthusiasm was contagious and made every sighting even more exciting. I particularly enjoyed watching how he and Patrick tracked the animals — carefully reading signs, interpreting tracks, and slowly piecing together where the wildlife might be. Being part of that process made each drive feel like a real adventure. This was such a wonderful way to celebrate my graduation. 10/10 ideal location for an amazing once in a lifetime safari trip. All the staff, chefs, waiters, drivers were exceptional. Food was outstanding and the surroundings are surreal. Kutscho our driver was funny, kind, extremely knowledgable and made our trip!

We spent 2 nights in Motswari Private Game Reserve and it was an unforgettable experience! Wonderful food, service, exclusivity and personal attention. Our ranger, Marius was exceptional and made every game drive and our walking safari unforgettable. His trackers, Elvis and Misha was just as amazing with their knowledge of the animals and the bush. We saw 3 of the 5 "big five" in just 1.5 days of being there, thanks to these guys. The food and service at the lodge was beyond our expectations in every way. I was a vegetarian and they catered for me with exceptional skill and charm. The food was really outstanding, thank you Glenda and team! Our other hosts, Desmond and MJ looked after every detail and made our stay wonderful. Our room was large, luxurious and comfortable. We each had a great massage too (thank you Lerato), in a space where you can watch giraffes walk by... The setting of this private lodge is amazing, you overlook a river with giraffes and elephants walking by. We even had a hyena come close to us while sitting around the camp fire - so special. This was a once in a life time experience and we hope to be back again soon!

The property is just the perfect size in a great locations. The staff is amazing in general, but our guide Ruben was just the best. My dream was always to do a safari and shindzela lived up to my expectations or better!
