Perfect establishment, close to town 👌. Check In was 100% I forgot the name of the lady that was working on the 25th she gave us a warm welcome 🙏 with a little Christmas gift I give her 10/10 and the security guy facilities are as perfect 🥰 we really enjoyed our stay. Charming buildings with great atmosphere and a view on a waterhole that is frequented by all kinds of animals (amongst also giraffes). Great hospitality the staff goes the extra mile to make this an unforgettable experience and you don’t want to leave. The meals were delicious and creative. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and a great bathroom, I loved the outdoor shower. The gamedrives were awesome we saw plenty of animals, we were lucky to see the big five but were there for three nights so not all on one drive. The ranger was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and she told very interesting background stories. It’s very interesting to learn about how you keep the balance that all the herbivores have their food and there’s an equilibrium with the carnivores too. Also to see and be explained how animals adapt. I made some amazing lion and cheetah pictures. A place you want to return to and see how it develops.

Our room was very comfortable, spacious, bright, and clean. There was everything we needed. The staff was very friendly. Even when we went on an early safari and didn't have time for breakfast, they prepared breakfast for us in advance and packed it with us, which we didn't expect, but it was very nice of them. We also liked the location as it is just outside the city and it was easy to get to Nambiti Game Reserve which is only a 30-minute drive to the main gate.

It was my 1st time booking to the lodge. All people we come across with were very friendly, starting from the receptionist. The breakfast was delicious. I liked the attitude of Miss Kubheka, the waitress. She is outstanding. The area is very quiet. I will frequently visit the area.

I understand that Ladysmith is an old town ,but ,I was very disturbed when I saw shacks right in town ,there are other areas in CBD, that were dirty ,in Small towns like Ladysmith ,we are expecting orderly and clean places especially in CBD. Municipality must enforce the by laws. We like to visit small towns .

The town is very easily layed out and full of history.

The town is very easily layed out and full of history. Guided and unguided tours are available to visit the war that took place in the area. The richness in history and facts are felt throughout town. Not many restaurants available. Ensure that you do visit the area and plan enough time to visit at least two war sites.
