Excellent location. Nice room.

Everything was excellent. The back-power was a lifesaver, as was the misquito net over the bed. The Alexa voice system for controlling lights etc. was very useful. We had lots of animal visitors: warthog, duiker, bushbuck, impala, wildebeest and eight male kudu. P.S. We accidentally set off the alarm and an armed security guard arrived within minutes. This made us feel very safe!

Excellent all inclusive stay, I was well taken care of by dedicated staff from before arrival until after checkout. Complimentary airport transfers to Skukuza and guide made sure we saw as much as possible on the game drives. Excellent food served every meal.

Umkumbe Safari Lodge is a great place to stay if you are looking cut yourself off from the hustle bustle of the city life and spend a couple of nights away from civilization. It is right there admist the wild with very little access to the internet. The game drives provided by the guides & trackers are very informative and they try their best to get you a close view of the Big 5. It is absolutely safe and you will love your experience of the wild with Umkumbe Safari Lodge. They clean the room and prepare your bed twice a day which is awesome.

The food was great ,staff very friendly,rooms were nice and James our driver and guide knew a lot about the animals and we saw a lot. Thanks James!

We loved everything about Jock. For us, it was a little piece of heaven. We had the most incredible stay of our lives and made the most amazing memories, never to be forgotten. A trip to Kruger is a lifetime experience, and staying at Jock was definitely the cherry on top. If you're reading this and thinking of booking, then do it! You really won't regret it. The staff could not do more for you, you only had to think about another glass of wine and one was put in front of you. My gosh, do they love to feed you too, if it's not breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there is a morning or afternoon snack on the go. Definitely expect to eat your fill here! The rooms themselves are slightly on the small side, but this is more than accounted for in the outside space. A real must is a night outside on the daybed, I tried this (the other half wasn't brave enough), and it was an experience in itself. Our ranger Micha was absolutely incredible. What a true asset to the team at Jock he was. He had a way of ensuring we were in the right spot at the right time to see some of the most amazing widelife sightings you can imagine. His cheeky sense of humour had us on our toes, too, with him clearly enjoying winding us up with his "facts", he was just amazing. The little extras during the game drives, such as indulging in a rangers special (hot chocolate with Amarula) in some of the most spectacular landscapes are also memories to be forever cherished. Nothing is overlooked during a stay at Jock. Hopefully one day we will be able to return.

Comfortable rooms, was lovely to enter into cool air. Swimming pool was a welcome break and breakfast was delicious.

I enjoyed the lodge as we could see elephants across the river from our room. The service from the staff was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.
