Experiencing the village life was a bonus. In our room i didn't expect running water as i thought they still struggle with water. We did self catering. Dinner time we ate together with the host family traditional food. We had a lovely stay. The guest house is next to main road so you wont get lost.

Zambezi Dusk is located on a beautiful property with views of frequent visits from elephant, buffalo, and plains game right across the river. There is a spacious deck with various comfortable seating options for viewing wildlife, dining, or enjoying a drink. The food quality and presentation is that of what you would find at an upscale restaurant. We had some of our most favorite meals at Zambezi dusk and it was only 4 nights out of a 22 day stay! I can not say enough about the kitchen and wait staff! The game boat ride was a great bonus! All of the staff went above and beyond in many aspects, we can’t thank them enough. As far as location we loved that it was secluded and private exactly what we were looking for. The gardens and view from restaurant are better than pictures.

All was new and clean. The house had a big battery in case of power outbreak’s. We had both airtel and mtn SIM cards because we work online while we travel and the signal was good so the signal towers were close. The owner fixed the road in the second day and it has a good sign from the asphalt road. I will return with pleasure for sure.

Amazing location on the river, very peaceful and interesting - we enjoyed spotting hippos and crocodiles directly from our terrace. Everything! The properly is an absolute dream, seeing animals around the property was absolutely magical, the staff was amazing, so helpful, attentive, friendly, caring, … I can’t say enough about it. The room was so spacious and nice, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom has a very nice size. Common areas are so nice and the food was on point every single meal. Classh room, nice outlook Wildlife roaming the grounds (zebra, impala, giraffes) meant you were on safari just by stepping inside your room. Poolside bar provided great meals with generous servings at a reasonable price. 5 minutes walk to the Falls.
