Known for its charming cities, Galapagos Islands, and adventures in the Amazon rainforest, Ecuador takes pride in its place on the equator line. UNESCO World Heritage sites are scattered all over this landmark-laden country, which is also home to the world’s highest active volcano. Quito, the capital and the smaller city of Cuenca, features two of the best-preserved historic centres in Latin America. Their cobblestone streets are dotted with postcard-worthy plazas, restored mansions and age-old churches. To explore the natural treasure trove of the Ecuadorian Amazon properly, it’s best to go with a local guide. They’ll make sure you enjoy the best activities such as crossing Sacha Lodge’s 275-metre canopy walkway, spotting pink dolphins at wildlife reserves or visiting the indigenous Huao community. From Amazon lodges to high-end hotels, Ecuador has a huge variety of accommodation options. B&Bs, hostels, homestays and campsites are also available.

Absolutely beautiful property! Sooo much space and everything was so well maintained with the gardener seemingly working around the clock to keep everything beautiful.
This property is an oasis 20-30 minutes away from Quito airport and one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been to. There’s a gorgeous pool, some ponds, hammocks, tons of space to walk around, a football and basketball court and areas to sit and hang out at.
This place is also a paradise for dog lovers - they have 3 beautiful and sweet dogs that will love to hang around you all the time and accompany you where ever you go on the property. They’re incredibly sweet.
The service has been phenomenal. I can’t remember the young lady’s name but she’s been extremely kind and took hospitality to the next level. She made sure that I could enjoy my stay to the fullest, helped me with everything I could ask for and was great to talk to (I was a solo traveler). She also speaks excellent English!
Last but not least, the food was to die for! It felt like I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and pretty much all of their fruits and vegetables come from their own garden. Highly recommend the tenderloin and shrimp casserole. They also make excellent fresh juices with exotic fruits to die for. The prices are incredibly affordable (for people from North America and most European places) and you get impressive quality for the price.
The breakfast that’s included topped everything - homemade yucca bread, fresh juice, coffee and scrambled eggs. They even had amaranth milk since I don’t drink dairy milk.
The rooms were clean, the bathroom has a nice shower with hot water and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I will most definitely be back for a longer stay at this peaceful Oasis. Thanks for everything, it was lovely :)

Sofia, the host, was very friendly and helpful. A beautiful place, and was spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast and possible to have it early if needed. Convenient location a few minutes from the main plaza. Nice to have a roof top veranda. A beautiful small garden on the ground floor.
I stayed för a total of 9 nights and would not hesitate to come back.

The staff is really friendly: they do remind me on a couple of grandparents who want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. After traveling 3 weeks through Ecuador this place has by far the nicest rooms we have seen. They are spacious, new and very nice decorated providing all facilities you need.
The owner of the hotel provided dinner in the evening which was really good at a very fair price. Communication was a bit hard because they don't speak English very well, but the owners are very open and willing to help.
