Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. It was the best hotel we stayed in this year in Iceland. The room is comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is good, with a lot of choices. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and we were happy with the food also.

Siglo Hotel by Keahotels in Siglufjörður has 4-star accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. It was amazing! Super cute hotel, the hot tub was very nice, the rooms were amazing

Set in Geysir, 100 metres from Geysir, Hotel Geysir offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. One of the best hotels we've ever been to. Modern, great design, friendly staff, spacious rooms.

Set in Akureyri, 39 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The place was big , clean and comfortable. Bed was really comfortable and the dining area was clean and orderly. The coffee maker in the room is a nice amenity.

Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. The staff went above and beyond. The location is otherworldly. The interior is finely curated. The rooms are very comfortable.

Set in Jökulsárlón, 11 km from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Best place we stayed at during our trip. Everything was lovely, big comfortable room, the outside area was great, all very pretty, we just wished we stayed longer

Set 27 km from Hella and 12 km from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Superb room, luxurious for my wife and I as the room was super spacious. It has everything I need! Breakfast was an added bonus as Booking.com said no meal plan and receptionist said all rooms come with a breakfast. Wife was elated :) For the price compared to other accommodations I had in Iceland, this is super value for money. Pity we didn’t had time to try out the hot tub out in the open! 2 nights is definitely not enough when the F-roads are open for the summer as there are plenty of nearby hikes around the area!

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. We had a lovely stay. The room was nice and comfortable, the staff friendly, and the surroundings absolutely stunning. Absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the eastern area of Iceland.
