We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Brilliant hotel with a beautiful garden that smells fresh and green! Food in restaurant is stunning! Staff is super kind and attentive. Room where we stayed is not big, but clean, sheets are crystal white, bathroom is very nice. Adorable hotel where you want to spend all day long - nice and enjoyable after long safari days and long trips. Amazing place - absolutely 5 stars!

There are few properties I've considered giving such a high rating as Q boutique to be honest and they deserve it! It's a fairly new property but they've really considered so many aspects of their experience. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and warm. The rooms/villas are quaint and cozy while still meeting professional standards of hospitality. The breakfasts had a good variety of dishes and even a few things we asked for on request like lemon tea. The dinner was a hearty serving of very fluffy mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and the tastiest fish! I really like their swimming pool, it was always clean and especially by afternoon the water's a great temperature. We ended up staying an extra night than what was planned at Q boutique because we had such a good experience. I'd definitely go back here and it would be my luxury place of choice for Malindi.

Everything is simply fantastic. The full board is amazing and the menu changes daily. The included safari drives roam the famous Lemek Conservancy, ultra rich in wildlife including the big 5 (which we got). And who couldn’t love hippo corner, where up to 50 lounge on a mudbank just below the property!

Very beautiful property totally new

This property has everything I needed, a comfortable bed, very good internet, practical room, very good food, and best of all amazing cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. They would not let me leave. So nice here. Thank you. I will leave one more review because I actually came twice ….

Though a seasoned traveler, I am short of words to describe this unique property. Its location is truly one-of-a-kind- right next to the real airfield from where small aircraft and helicopters take off for domestic flights. Mind you, no flights at night, so a good sleep is guaranteed. The premises are just awesome: a colonial building erected back in 1927, with the fantastic authentic atmosphere of those days - be that the cozy fireplace room or the old British-style library with old books - all about airplanes and navigation; lots of genuine trophies and artifacts on the walls and real antiquated engines scattered throughout the place, serving as coffee tables, or stands, or just sole art objects- all of that creates a very special kind of ambience. There are two lovely courtyards - large enough and safe enough for kids to play (and a playground is there as well), and providing the atmosphere of relaxation for adults. The place is very secure - actually, there are two very well fenced perimeters around it: one- of the airport/airfield itself (as the hotel is inside the airport)- is under 24/7 surveillance, with cameras and barbed wire on top of a very solid fence; and the hotel's own perimeter secured by guards. The swimming pool and gym seem to be taken good care of though we didn't use them this time. Rooms are of 2 kinds- for pilots and crews (we stayed in the latter). Though not that large, our room boasted a supercomfy king size bed with an anti-moscquito net around it (yet another reference to the colonial days though very useful and efficient against moscquitoes), an AC, a tea kettle, and a spacious bathroom with a great shower (needless to say, the water is purified and safe to use for brushing one's teeth). There also is a bar and a restaurant, both in the same colonial style. We haven't use the former but food at the restaurant certainly worth a Michelin star!
