Very friendly staff and owners, always greeting us with a smile and catering to our needs. The hotel is brand new and has many nice details, for example, every night the tables were set up on the beach so you could have a romantic dinner. Also, the beach is beautiful and amazing for snorkeling. Almost no tourists on the island so it truly felt like a private get-away. Highly highly reccomend going here - the experience is much better than the classic resorts. We hope to come back!

Of all the travels that we have done and all the hotels that we have stayed in so far, we have never experienced such an attentive host, for all the requests, be it our choice of breakfast be it arranging water sports or anything else the host went above and beyond to ensure we have a pleasant stay throughout, it is also as a very budget friendly island with all facilities available.Highly recommended for any families planning to visit Maldives to visit Gaafaru and stay in Futtaru Sands.

Property is very new and well maintained, very comfy beds and pillows, very clean rooms. Staff was very helpful and tolerant with all our questions and made our stay wonderful, staff will assist you with any trip or rentals you need. Seeyyam took excellent care of us and was always ready to assist even on WhatsApp throughout the day.

This is exactly the type of accommodation that will be remembered for life because it has that perfect mix of beauty, comfort and hospitality. At the center of it all is the host Shifau. He's super kind and welcoming and sooo laid back. You will immediately slow down and relax like never before. The day starts with a breakfast of your choice - we opted for Maldivian every day and the mas huni (prepared by Shifau's mother) was so tasty and nutritious that you forget about being hungry for the rest of the day. The room is large with good air-con (we appreciated the low-noise mode at night). The bed is comfortable and perfect after a whole day at the beach snorkeling. The garden surrounding the villa is fantastic and there is also a terrace upstairs to relax in the evening. Imho location is also great, as it's close to the western beautiful side of the island and you can easily reach the 2 bikini beaches through lush plantations and coconut groves. We initially thought bicycles are needed (and Shifau can organize some for you), but in the end we walked everywhere because that's so enjoyable as there is always something to observe. We also opted for one dinner at the beach. Shifau and his team can organize it for you and we thought it's a magical experience: you will enjoy good food, barefoot, while watching the sun go down.

We really enjoyed our stay at Isla Retreat. First, the island of Fehendhoo is small and walkable, it has an amazing bikini beach down the road from the hotel. The ferry from Male to Fehendhoo was simple and Isla picked us up at the dock with our bags. Arrival was nice, cold cloth and a welcome fruit drink. The rooms are so pleasant and comfortable - AC and fans as needed, kept us very cool in the afternoons when we rested. The balcony was equipped with a clothes line to dry wet swim suits. Our room overlooked the beach in front of the hotel (where you can also sunbathe). Bed was comfortable and the showers have plenty of hot water. I loved the window seat for a reading nook (the hotel has a library for physical books during your stay). The restaurant is on the top floor, great views of the water and you can dine al fresco in the evenings. We stayed a week and found there was plenty of variety in the menu where you didn't need to repeat meals. However, I enjoyed the fish so much I had it 3 times. Breakfast was included with our rate, which was great, and we had a leisurely breakfast every day. The hotel has a list of activities and will help you get setup for whatever you may want to do, including scuba diving if that is of interest. We really enjoyed the rose garden snorkel, fish feeding and island drop. We also got to play with the bioluminescence one evening, which was a lot of fun. My partner took advantage of some scuba. They also have kayaks, SUP and floats for guest use, we had a nice kayak one day to the bikini beach. The staff are all friendly and nice, going out of their way to support anything you might need. Overall, just a lovely experience, we would definitely come back for another visit. It's likely that the island will get busier in coming years as there are several resorts being built, but right now its very quiet and local, super relaxing.

It’s a brand new hotel with excellent facilities. The welcome-coconut is a very nice treat. The room was spotless, the bed is very, very comfy. Excellent WiFi. I really enjoyed the maldivian breakfast. The manager Ahusan and Mifzaal were always attentive, helpful and answered all my questions. They organized trips and transportation, also everything what I was asking for. It’s a short walk or bike ride to the excellent beach. Restaurants are also nearby. I spent a very relaxing time there. I also learned a lot of Maldivian culture. The complementary snorkeling tour plus the maldivian culture-afternoon was one of the highlights in dhigurah.

All of the staff were very nice and caring, all the dives were amazing, very quiet and chill environment. Meals are amazing! All the three of them.

Place is new and modern, Staff is very friendly, there were 3 gentleman running the place, they were very helpful. We used bikes to go round the island.
