We cannot put into words how much we loved staying here! The room was great but the facilities were even better. The pool area was phenomenal that you don’t ever want to leave. They even have services such as massages and saunas and if you stay it’s a must you book these in! The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, definitely lived up to the hype and something we looked forward to each day. The only thing better than the facilities were the staff, everyone we spoke to was amazing and friendly we loved them all! Did I mention that it’s also in the most perfect spot walkable to everything you want in Abulfeira!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, and this was already my second visit. My mother and I stayed in a duplex room which was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The team went above and beyond to fulfill all our special requests with great care. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. The room was well-heated and cozy, and the location is perfect for walking, right next to the river. We will definitely come back!

An elegant property very close to the old city. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The whole staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic; a huge buffet spread of everything imaginable, and on top of that, a la carte main courses on offer as well.
The Palacio had some many nice touches and 'spaces', including the large garden and pool, the bar area out front, the back patio etc. So glad we chose to spend a few nights here.

We had the most wonderful suite for our 3 night stay - spacious and beautifully furnished with lots of little extras. And a magnificent view of the Douro River from our room and private, tree shaded patio with a little pool to cool off in. We had picnic baskets delivered to our room for dinner and were happy to spend time in the beautiful space.

Everything was just perfect, this hotel takes care of every detail to make your stay unforgettable. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and so quiet.
The food is delicious and varied (with child menu).
Finally, the natural swimming pool is breathtaking, the best I have ever been so far.
