The hospitality and helpfulness of Nicky and Mark was extraordinary throughout our entire stay of 6 nights. They were helping us a lot to make the most of our stay in this area, that is stunning! We couldn't have wished for better hosts and if we would return in this area any time in the future we would choose this lovely B&B again and again. The included breakfast was nice and filling and the genuine helpfulness and kindness of our hosts truly outstanding! Difficult to say what we liked the most because we loved it all. The size, quality of the room. Fancy decoration, good coffee and quality furniture in the room. The private balcony with the fantastic view, The nice and helpfull manager and staff, the quality of the breakfast and the other food and wine, the clean and peaceful garden with quality furniture, bath and sauna possibilities alone with full access to the lake. We felt very lucky to have found and chosen this place.

This traditional, family-run hotel is located in the heart of the picturesque town of St. Gilgen, only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Wolfgang.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is centrally located, right next to St Gilgen’s town hall and mere minutes walking from the lake. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The staff was very helpful, despite communicating only via messages and emails. Overall, a very positive experience!

Surrounded by a garden with centuries-old trees, the Sonnhof is located next to Bad Ischl Train Station and opposite the Salzkammerguttherme Spa Centre. It offers free private parking and free WiFi.
